Hi,

I updated the Nvidia drivers to the 178.24 version yesterday for the EVGA 8800GT 512MB card, rebooted my pc, defragged, rebooted again. I played R6V2 for about 2 hours without any issues.

Today I tried starting the game and it failed to start after it goes through checking for updates. I got "video card not supported" message, clicked "ok" and shuts the game down completely. I do have the latest patch for R6V2, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Do you think it has something to do with the PhysX acceleration that comes with the drivers? Would this be causing the game to not recognize the card? After all, I ran the minimum requirements(via UBI software) and it shows the card as acceptable. I don't get what has happened between yesterday and today with this game and it not being able to initialize. I have no issues with MS Flight Sim 2004...it is running perfectly.

I run WinXP SP3 32 bit, all drivers,etc. up to date. Any thougts would be appreciated.
