i have put lots of work in becoming an elite (was a colonel) and now i have to start all over. i was wondering if we could ever get our ranks back.

ps. i am sure the post will help many not re-set their ranks.

THIS IS SHOCKING, I have ahd rank reset TWICE NOW and am sick of it. Took a long time to rank up only to lose it all.

I DEMAND A FULL REFUND FROM UBI and want this FAULTY GAME TAKEN BACK. UBI DONT SEEM TO RPELY OR CARE.

This is such bull. Ubi, just answer the question. It's easy, yes, or no. Will we be getting our former ranks restored? And btw, whoever asks why ppl are whining about losing their elite status, stfu, ok? Some people dont like to be cheap and boost up to it, they get there legitimately. So seriously, dont be a noob. i agree fella ive been reset twice from Captain to recruit and then Corpral to recruit and i also agree about the elite boosting that proves nothing please ubisoft get this sorted out my aces was all level 20 and i was all happy untill now i nearly lobbed the game out the window lol

i have also been reset and after pulling an all nighter i have gotten to sergent(wee) i swear if this doesnt get fixed im NEVER buying another game made by "crapisoft" again!!! ever!!! i want my rank back or a full refund!!!! worst 60 bux i ever spent!!!!!

So wait, we buy 1 million some copies of UBISOFTS' game, and they screw us over? Real cool guys, your lucky if I ever buy/play another game by you again.

Please answer my questions and if we will get out ranks back. If not I want a full refund as the game has not delivered what it promised and I reject this product under the SALE OF GOODS ACT 1998 as unfit for purpose.

Rank Reset April 1 and Im now 2cnd Lieutenant and think I will reach elite by 2 weeks at most im excited. I will only be that much better after going through the ranks again and Im two times better than most elites and my friend showed me what the custom camo I want will look like and it looks simply awesome good luck to everyone else ranking up.

So, i finally get Elite after busting my "ass" for 2 weeks of nonstop owning with a bunch of friends on Atk/dfnd/Tleader. to wake up the day AFTER i get elite to be a Recruit. There HAS to be a way for Ubisoft to correct this Error, I mean it Clearly says in my Achievements that im an Elite, and ive unlocked all the Weapons unlocked. Disheartening to say the least that it has effected so many other people as well.
Especially for the People who "no lifed it up" to Get Elite legit (rare thing from what i can tell skill based).

Edit: Im curious as to why everyone is Flaming with "i want a refund etc etc" it is a Very good game but you would throw it away because your rank was reset..? This seems like a Hallow to say the least threat. Honestly if you expect any of the Semi Serious Posts to get read all of the 10 year old nonsense really should get Deleted by a mod. (Not telling you how to do your job just imo.)

i called ubisoft yesterday and spent about a half an hour on the phone. they said that they cannot give me back my elite rank or my aces. they told me that they dont even have anything to do with the ranks, and that i needed to call xbox to see if they could fix it.to make a long story short, they couldnt return my rank to me and they were very sorry.

Indeed you may be correct but it shows their lack of care for customers, a known fault and they are doing nothing about it. Not even the courtesy to answer questions etc. Just because they are a large games company should not make them immune to complaints.

Twice reset with none of there "workarounds" working. I would be quite happy with money back and they can have the game back because starting back at the start constantly is annoying as you lose everything and not having alot of time to play again and again to build up rank and therefore not have weapons etc is annoying when you just want to come on for a blowout after work,etc.

They could at least answer if we have any hope of regaining our ranks. I am very dissapointed with the way UBI have dealt with this. You get better customer service from a call centre where the guy cant even speak the same language or indeed is not in the same country.
And I dont see how having a legitimte complaint is flaming.

For the most part, customer service has problems with EVERYTHING. I call Microsoft to get my xbox repaired (red ring, the evil hardware 3 ring one) and it took them 3 months to deal with it, while at the same time, it took my friend 3 weeks to get his fixed. It all depends on when. Sometimes, they have a lot of influx, sometimes, none at all. Deranking is a major problem with R6V2, they know it's going on, so lets just be quiet about the issue. Trust them, they know. They don't need to be dealing with a load of posts about this anymore. Programming a patch for a problem they don't even know the roots to is really hard. Sheesh, I take programming courses, it takes a while just to write a class from scratch, but this is a whole game patch. First they have to find the problem, then how to fix it, then writing it and implementing it. Not a simple, or quick, process so just be paitent. Besides, even if you don't get rank/aces back, it isn't too hard to get those back. I'm 3 ranks away from Warrant Officer (previous rank) in just 1 day's play. Plus I got marksman up to 20, assault to 12, and CQB to 10. From there on, it's just time. Besides, this is a game, not life, don't take it so seriously. So what if they have a bug problem, go play something else for a week or two or just work around it (I've been doing this) They posted a great guide to get past resetting so you can still rank up while the bug exists.

man this is so lame i want my rank bak i dont wanna start again ......

I dont get it how could there be so many elites if the game isnt even a month old. Also is there any news on how to get the private 1st class achievement without resetting your rank.

Why are you finding the elite status hard to fathom?

I'm at almost 180,000 points and its what, 400,000 for elite? I don't play it more than 1 - 2 hours a night if that and I play a ton of terrorist hunt and story mode and have not boosted at all.

If I can get almost 180,000 XP in a 2-3 weeks, people that really play it a lot can get to elite within a couple of weeks no problem.

If you played the first game it was almost impossible to reach that rank and I find it a problem too because the many elites i have played with are horrible players i havent found a single one that has actually demonstrated his skill.

how do you get the private 1st class achievement if you already past it?
