in raven shield often when i get to the intro movie about the nazi war machine crrumbling the screen just goes blank and does nothing and i have to restart my computer.
also when i somtimes get past that movie and i go and play a game the walking and running is really laggy but moving my weapon around is fine. i tryed turning all the settings really low but that didnt work.
my specs are:
cpu:athlon dual core, 2.2 ghz
graphics card:nvidia 7600 gt
mother board:dfi nf ultraii-m2
sound:intergrated
os:windows xp pro
ram:2gb
optical drive:dvd+/- rw
hdd space:more than enuogh(10gb+)

Hi, I was having the same problem. I found out that Raven Shield has something against Dual Core Processors, here's how to fix it:

Start the game
Open the task manager
Right click RavenShield.exe
Click Set Affinity
Uncheck one CPU so that only one is checked

This should fix it, but you'll have to do it every time you open Raven Shield

i still have problems with walking on raven shield, i think its because of my graphics card, does anyone know how to fix this?

I was having an issue with Raven Shield after I installed it on my new computer and sure enough, after reading all your posts it was the dual core CPU issue. I assigned the affinity to one processor and it works fine now.

I was getting black flashes across the Red Storm annimation screen and it would usually lock up at this point. When I did get into game it was all jerky and twitchy. Thanks for the posts

Well, it was working fine. I had the original version 1.0 installed until I figured out what was going on and learned of the trick to turn off 1 of my two processors. After patching to the lastest version 1.60 (Raven) and installing Athena Sword and patching it to 1.10, sometimes the characters move in slow motion. Other times it works fine. Not sure what's going on here. I tried it with both the Athena Sword activated and without.
