hi there, i just re-instaled today my R6:V and i have found that it won't load the game

it happened both with the game patched and unpatched (when i finished the install the download of the 1.06 patch was still running so i tried to start the game to play a few minutes before patching, but an error comes up with the R6Vegas_Game.exe and it closes; i thought that it was some kind of bug and the patch will solve it, so i waited, installed the patch and tried again, the launcher starts, detects that there is no more patches to download and start the game, my mouse turns into a spinning CD and then nothing, the game doesnt start, i tried again looking at the process list and i found out that the R6Vegas_Game.exe strarts, and 1 or 2 seconds after my mouse stops beeing the spining CD it just disappear and the game never starts)

i have a Pentium IV 3.06GHz, 1XGeForce 8600GTS and 2GB of RAM, and drivers updated

is there anyone whith this issue/who know how to fix it?

i re-reinstalled for the 3rd time this morning, clean unnistal and re-install, and the game started running (unpatched), played a few minutes, log out, patched to the 1.06 and again running whith no troubles

seriously, i dunno what might have happened but now it works...

i have that same prob did you ever figure it out if so could you post

i have a problem with mine it just stays on the loading screen and dont load?
anyone know why it do it?

This is bull****, I'm having the same issue, I reinstalled the software now it won't load. It starts to load then it disappears from the task manager. There are alot of people having the same issue. also seems there are alot of problem with vegas2 as well. it's time to buy a different brand of game.

I have exactly the same problem, and there are other members in other threads suffering the same.
Has anybody got the answer to this or do we just consign this game to the trashcan & remind ourselves never to buy Ubisoft again, 'cos they don't seem to be bothered!!!! I also had probs with Blazing Angels, another of Ubisofts masterpieces & they just wont or can't help.
