I recently bought Raven Shield to put on my lap top, which doesn't have the greatest video card, but I thought I would try it anyway. Once I installed the game, it worked great. I played it for a couple of weeks, and now it is extremely slow- in game the character walks in a very jittery way, panning and aiming is slow, ect.
Some more info- I am running Vista, and for the first week or so whenever I started the game I would get a message saying something about the settings not being correct and that they were automatically adjusted for the game. I clicked on the "do not show again" button and that seems to be when the problems started. Is there any way to reinstate those changes that were being made? Other things I have tried have been to change the resolution and video settings, neither of which helped. I cleaned up the hard drive a little, defragmented the drive, and scanned for viruses. I really think that the lap top was automatically adjusting the settings for me, but know it is not and want to know if anyone knows how to get this started again. Thanks for the help. |
