Hey all,

New to the group, but having problems with my game.
I'm running Rainbow Six Vegas off CD. Today I was prompted to update the game to patch V1.06, which I did.
Now when I go to load the game, it freezes at the loading screen (the one where it shows military guys in formation).
Just for basic FYI, I'm running this on a Compaq Presario with the following specs;

AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile ZM-82 2.20 GHZ
4.00 GB Ram
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450

I would hate to have to delete the game, reinstall and then make my way back through to my last check point.

Can anyone here help me?

I have exactly the same problem.
I have just returned to this game after a long absence, & it played no trouble at all back then so my PC is up to it.
However, on start-up, v1.06 was automatically downloaded & I get the same problem as paulthelimey. HELP PLEASE.
