First you should update Vegas 2 on all computers to 1.03.
Also, make sure both computers are running the same version. If you are using a router, it should auto assign IP addresses, and you should configure your network on each computer to auto assign. If that doesn't work, setup your network (LAN) manually. When doing that, the network name on all computers must be exactly the same. Then assign IP addresses for all computers in the same range. Example: 192.168.0.120 192.168.0.121 The first 3 numbers must be the same. The last number must be different to identify each computer. The computer names can be anything you want and are basically just to identify each computer. Again, only the network name MUST be the same on all computers on your network. Hope this helps. |

the two computers connect directly to each other and not connected to a router the computers are not connected to the internet they are both running version 1.2.2 have done the IP thing with one having last digit different but no luck there have uninstalled and reinstalled game on both and the network names are the same as other games work via lan

Direct connect is not always easy to setup.
Try connecting through a network switch. They are cheap and you can connect several computers on a LAN. http://www.newegg.com/Product/...ult=True&Order=PRICE |

Glad you got it working.
Sometimes it is just something simple like turning on printer and file sharing, or some other simple setting. |
