I have the exact same problem, Im running XP, not vista however. Me and my brother's computer (This one is vista) are very close in graphics cards, ram, etc... His computer can run the game fine, but mine lags HORRIBLY even on the main menu and ingame.

I did try turning off my sound accelerator and nada...

Any other suggestions? Please? I just bought this game and im unable to play

Oh, and my video settings are obviously turned all the way down, and I've tried the lowest few resolutions.

Specs:

Windows XP
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Graphics card (256MB of ram)
2GB of System RAM
And 1.80 GHz Performance Rated at 3.40 GHz CPU (Thanks to SystemReqLab)

Im beginning to think my problem isnt so much lag, as in a mouse delay. It seems like its taking an extra second before moving my mouse, so I was thinking it was lag...

Never the less, anyone know a solution?
