It happened again for the 4th time, the game resets my pc without any reason, the game only reset the pc during a loading screen.

what is going on?

SPECS:

HD 3870X2 1GB
GIGABYTE X38-DS4
4GB RAM PC6400 CORSAIR
WINXP 32BIT SP2
XFI CARD

This keeps happening to me too when Act 4 Scene 2 started loading I got a BSOD (the first that has happened on this computer in the 8 months I've had it) so I rebooted and started up R6V2 again and my character had been deleted (all ranks, XP, unlocks and even appearance). My save games were there, I could continue on from the start of Act 4 Scene 2 but as a level 1 recruit.

This is continuing to happen at random in both story and versus on loading screens only. If you go into Control Panel > System > Advanced > Settings under Startup and Recovery and uncheck Automatically restart under System Failure it will freeze on the blue screen instead of instantly rebooting. In my case it is referencing ctaud2k.sys, something to do with the X-Fi driver.

Yet I've noticed several players with X-Fi audio cards, as well as me ... maybe a sound issue, but I have doubts about audio responsibility, after a couple of resets happened quitting the game to desktop ...

Hello, I bought the game a few days ago, I got a big big problem, i get blue screen of death (Error) when i play a game. It can take 1-20 minutes for it to appear, i got all new drivers for graphic card and sound card and i got good power supply, what do i do? I got 8800GTS512. Please help!!
