Ok
I purchesed Vegas and Vegas 2 today with hopes that it is a decent game. I have installed Both onto my PC and I am experiencing FPS Issues when shooting, getting shot or certain points in a map. What I have tried: Updated Drivers Disabling one of the Cores so it ran off one Defragmenting (After installation of both The HDD became heavily Fragmented) Running it on Very Low Settings Running in on Max Settings Running CPU on Stock Frquency (Neither Worked) Is there anything i need to do in the Configuration? To be Specific, It happens Mainly when Bullets hit walls and creates a spray. System: CPU: Intel E6600 @ 3.2Ghz RAM: 3GB DDR2 800mhz GPU: Radeon HD 2900XT 1GB HDD: 250GB (150GB Freespace) SFX: Onboard Sound, Realtek HD Audio Please Help... This message has been edited. *FIXED*
After recieving Now Responses, I took it into my own hands. C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2\Engine\Config\BaseEngine.ini *Make sure you back-up the Original incase you done something that cant be reversed.* Go to D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice [D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice] UseTrilinear=True LevelOfAnisotropy=2 UseStaticLighting=True ShadowBufferResolution=1024 MaxShadowResolution=512 MinShadowResolution=64 ShadowResolutionScale=2.0 BlurBufferResolutionDivisor=2 DisableShaderModel3=False DisableMultiLightPath=True DisablePrecaching=False DisableOcclusion=True bEnableFastShaderCaching=True MaxTranslucencyLayers=1 ShaderPath=..\Engine\Shaders AdapterNumber=-1 Gamma=2.2 Also i seems like sound played a bit of a Role [ALAudio.ALAudioDevice] MaxChannels=2 (2 to 12) TimeBetweenHWUpdates=15 I cant confirm it will work for everyone, but hopefully helps, it also stopped Desktop Crashing and MP Crashes. |
