Does anyone know what the status of XIII 2 is? I really need to know, because I love that game.

Yeh, i love the game too. At the end it said to be continued and the plan was to make a sequel. But XIII did not sell so good, so now it is unlikely. Everyone has to keep contacting ubisoft for a sequel. XIII is the best game in the world! The sequel in time will sell well!

I agree with you guys 100% I mean its about **** time UBI came out with somthing good and then finnaly XIII comes out the best thing for them to put out since POD and no one buys it was screw all that this game rocks and UBI needs to write the sequel before they loose all my respect

I love XIII! I play it every weekend! I was so shocked by the ending, though. There had better be a XIII part 2, but the bigger question that nobody is asking is, "What's the storyline going to be about?" Has it occurred to no one that just escaping from Wally Sheridan is not enough to make a different story for XIII? Anyways, I have been searching the web for news about XIII part 2, and so far, no news has been announced. It's so upsetting! The thing is, this is not the only site impatient for the sequel of XIII, but no one knows anything else! If I get any info on XIII part 2, I'll be sure to post it on this forum. Until then, we have to wait, but we can satisfy our cravings for XIII part 2 by playing it online or with a higher difficulty.

in case ur interested chaps (coz i kno i am) i found sum 'info' about the XIII sequel on a forum a lil while ago.
it ws supposedly from an ubisoft rep, who said that in the sequel they wer going to make and still might, XIII turns bad and joins mr sheridan turning the whole game aim into world domination
myself, i didnt like the sound of this too much but mayb, its all an act and he's a double agent sort of thing - pretending to be on wally's side for a while mostly to survive i suppose before turning on him to take him down at the end.
i dunno how reliable that source is tho.
is also worth mentioning that XIII is a french comic - and the story goes on for ages - much longer than a first an second game, so potentially many a game, but that looks doubtful now. i sure as hell wish theyd release a sequel tho, i love the game, still play it loads and besides with a 'to be continued ending' i think they really owe it to us. theres countless forums out there full of people who would defo buy the sequel. do the right thing ubichaps.

I don't believe there is a sequal planned at the moment but I sure hope there will be in the future. Great game.

Hay mb its me form the rayman fourms.Also XIII ant the best game. RayMan is and hes also the unoffical maskscott for ubi. Also u could give ub a big scare by using the map editor they gave u and start making the second game ur shelf. When halo 2 came out for xbox and not pc pepole started to do mods and it worked now halo 2 is cooming out this 2007.I was part of that lol.....Dam the XBOX the BOX form Hell!!!!!

the only reson the game sold bad was that it was sold in a bad time as many god game was sold like halo and many others

I lost respect ubisoft a looooooonggggggggggg time ago.I wouldnt be suprised if a thirteen part do doesnt come out.Its pretty ridiculous that this is the best game ubisoft made in a long time too.but i liked the newest ghost reacon but it wasnt all that great.13 is a great game though.I will continue to play it for a long time......me and a few friends start a lan game every weekend.

I agree..me and a few others still play it on the XBOX Live somewhat often, sometimes 2-3 times a week, other weeks just once a week..point is we been playing it for almost two years solid online, went from ps2 to 360 and would love to see a sequel..

Apparently XIII Movie starring Val Kilmer as Mongoose is coming out in 2009 (but in Canada?). Doubtful that would spark enough hype for a sequel..love this game, my favorite of all time.

I too think that there won't be any sequel for XIII. Thou the game is wonderful. There is a TV mini-series or a movie (i don't really know) called "XIII: The Conspiracy" 2009! Here is am ... w8 ... yeah ...

I actualy bought this game 4-5 years ago. I didnt illegally download it as I presume others did as it didnt sell well. Maybe because it wasnt on DVD?
I wasnt that old at the time, but I sure loved the game. But since i played it so much I got a little bored and forgot all about it. When I today wanted to play this game again, I was searching for info on XIII part 2. There was none.

I thought it was released ages ago, I mean taking it further than what they did in the end of the game, would be releasing it.

I look back at the times where games were made because the creators wanted to make something they liked, and hopefully others. Now its all about how much money there is possible to earn. Wake up! There are tons of people actually wanting to buy this game!

I bought it for PS2, Xbox, and PC. I preordered the PS2 version (picked it up the day it was released), bought the PC version new, but a few months later, and the Xbox version is used and bought 2 years ago. I don't know how much more 1 person can do to send the message that this is a good game, and a series worth pursuing. Think of all the crap games that got sequels, and were a LOT less popular.
