There is a noticeable rate of people who can't come into servers with custom content - and sadly there is no support in any manual how to manage this. Read this, if willing to change it:
1. Upgrade your XIII to Patch 1.4, take it from http://xiii.opaquit.com or your favourite download mirror. 2a. Spot the file XIII.ini which can be found at << C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\XIII\System\XIII.ini >>. (Windows Vista possibly keeps it in the compatibility folder (also called "AppData")) 2b. Find the entry << AllowDownloads >> and be sure it's switched on (AllowDownloads=True). If these steps works fine, you should be able to get in into any custom server within few seconds. (3 - 9 for middle-sized packages) This will only work at servers which support this download function. And it doesn't do everyone at this time. But if you locate one of the 24/7 server called "WRA" or something similar to that and try to join that, these ones will do. Hope it helps! |

Lol. It's Serverside who must have AllowDownloads=True ; not Necessary the client ! And PLEASE MATE, go to fra Website, and FORCE THE USE OF ANTICV FILE ! |

I forgot : as long as you have patch 1.3 installed, no need for patch 1.4 or 1.5 ; it's simply some minor fixes who didn't need any interest.
