I am on stage 3 and I cannot seem to destroy the tanks and the convoy to proceed, no matter where I place myself to launch the rocket the tank gets me, I have tried averywhere, does anybody know the answer to this please, it is driving me mad.

its been along time since i played ghost recon 2 but if my memory serves me right you can only take the tank out with a satchel charge i hope that helps

What I did (assuming you are talking about the ps2 version) I told my group to hold position right before the building with the walk way to its roof, sneaked around the building on the right side and killed one or two of the enemies with a grenade and waited for the tank to show up. Once it did I shot one rocket at the back of the tank and took it out. Once that was done I killed the rest of the enemies, regrouped my squad, rushed towards the gates and shot both trucks with some rockets.

What mission version are you talking about? If it's the PS2 mission (Village Hunt), I used the SOFLAM to call in fire support. If you're talking about the Xbox mission (Ambush), you just have to be Johnny-on-the-Spot with your M3A2 MAAWS to eliminate the enemy armor before it does the same to you!

I have Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter on the XBOX 360. It is a good game butit can get a bit confusing.
