ok heres a concept, stop *****ing at ubi for they have made a simple mistake.like dialing the wrong number...maybe listen to there suggestions on how to counter red-x. I have never gotten red x before and i have much faith that ubi will put together a patch....even after there ghost recon 2 ordeal

I wish UBI would acknowledge that it's a caching error with the Xbox. Hence why after two restarts it'll start up just fine. When you play two games, then try to play it again you'll get the red x at start up yet again.

Now as for the red x during game play, that is also do to a caching error. Every new bit of info there is some form of caching. UBI just fix this small minor problem, or at least stop putting out games so fast that have errors because "you can fix it later". That's bull and very bad business practices.

When I play my ghost recon 2 it says A problem has occurred, please restart your Xbox. I played it before and it used to work good but now when ever I try to play now the Red X error pops up. Does any one have this problem with ghost recon 2 and if you do can you help me.

i think the RED X is bulls** u would think UBISOFT would of fixed it before they launched GR2:SS i bet thet the red x will be in Ghost Recon 3 also though i hope they do fix it with a patch or something

I have read each topic and I don’t think ubi will bother nor able to solve the problem with the Red X guys I have change my X box cuz of this and cuz I wanna play the GR2SS. So how much I have lost? a punch of $$$? Thnx ubi.

Actually, they MAY have fixed the launch Red X error yesterday. There was an update to the system when I put the game in. Afterwards, the game rebooted and it wouldn't let me skip past the intro's. I'm wondering if the update fixed that bug.

3 out of 4 times when i try to turn on GR2 Summit Strike, i get the red x. i have also gotten the red x while playing the game online a few times.

Ok, I have to say you "red X"ers are pissing me off. I used to get the rd x often. I bought a new xbox and sold the old one on ebay. (this was a year ago...the old xbox was from launch) The new one has a faster DVD and HD. I RARELY get the red x now. Once in a blue moon if I go to the FL or don't let the start annimations play through. Get over it.

I know this is really old but I put in SS today because there was no games available in GRAW 2. The reason I stopped playing this was because of the Red X.

I can't belive it has been 3 years and they have not only not provided a patch, but they have not even bothered to talk to the community about it. This is unacceptable. And I have a very high tolerence level for Ubi, hell I work for them. But this just pisses me off.

Ubi, wake the hell up. The least you can do is monitor these forums, and give us a decent explanation. I felt like playing it again, and restarted this damn thing 20 times. I have no headsets or anything. AT least tell us its not gonna work or give us a decent bypass other than blaming our xbox's
