Has anyone been experiencing the game freezing up during a mission. I brought it home tonight fired it up in single player and bam freeze. I tried restarting 3 times each time freezing in another spot. I deleted all of my saved stuf and started again still froze. I then took that disc back to the store for exchange and now I get the same thing with the new one. I just want to know if there is a problem with the patch that came immediately when I started the game or what. I have tried sevral other of my games and they all work fine without any problems.

I just read a bunch of posters in the XBOX live forums are having the same problem. Someone said it may be related to the older DVD drive in the older xbox360 being the problem and that MS is looking into it. I would hope UBI would look into it as well.

Finally found someone else having the same problem. Im on my third disk.

Same with me. Switched disc at retailer. freeze up in training mission. Randomly.

Me too, really annoyed. Been looking forward to this game and can't even play the training mission without it locking up.
Won't bother changing the disc if it is a drive issue. Hope they fix it soon as i effectively can't play the game. |

Same Here. Cant get off the training mission, on my second disc. Do companies not product test any more? Very dissappointed. How long till a patch do we think?

So you guys are having trouble just completing training? Should I feel safe being that I'm about at the 3rd mission and haven't experienced this yet?

I've had numerous crashes. First one was the first time I started mission 1. After touchdown in Chihuahua Desert: freeze.
Fortunately; no crashes in Coop, strangely enough. |

I have also been experiencing the same thing however, its only an issue when I try to play the single player campaign. I've been able to make it through to the 2nd training mission and then it freezes. I can play the multi player portion over LIVE with no issue. I'm on my second disc and I'm looking forward to a fix for this issue.
It might be a good idea to indicate either when you got your 360 or the manufacturing date to see if it's something specific to that timeline of 360's? I got mine in January '06. |

Graw 2 Only Freeze ups during single player and it starts after I load a saved game, but on multiplayer haven't experienced it yet. I got my xbox360 in January '06

Hey guys. My game is having a similar problem where after playing through the single player the first time, it just froza towards the end of ACT 2 i reckon, after that the single player profile wud just not load, so i had to delete the file. I started a new profile and played through the single player again, and the same thing happened a little earlier into act 2. I'm fed up of playing through single player now and I'm not too keen on doing it for a third time on elevated difficulty cos it aint a real challenge as it is. Multiplayer has seemed to work fine up till now though.

I am now well and truely hacked off. I have just been through my fourth disk and it still freezes. I'm giving up with this, should they not look to recall the game if there are this many people with problems?

Thats where the problem arises. Is it the game? Or is it the Xbox DVD Drive? Im leaning towards its a problem with the 360 more so than the game. But either way there should be no reason why it is unplayable. I just hope the fix is free

Based on what i have read on the xbox forums, it seems to be the drives on the launch consoles, my warranty with MS expired already, lucky i still have the store warranty, kinda sucks for those that have to pay $120.00 to have your console replaced with MS if you are in that position.
Then again, this is the only game that i ever had this problem with... |

this is ****!!! I think Ubisoft should make a friendly launch drive disc player graw 2, and let us trade them in! WTF do we have to get new xbox's. I payed enough money for ubisoft games to pay a workers rent for half a year!

Not just the "launch" console either. I bought my console 10 months AFTER the official launch and I have the freezing as well. Only freezes on GRAW2 ... |

Just to add to the count, I am having the same problem. I have a launch Xbox, I had the game replaced, I cleared out my save games (including the nowhere map) and cleared the cache. All of that helped me make it to the second act (instead of crashing after touchdown of the first level) before it started crashing again. So far multiplayer has been ok. I really hope this gets resolved soon!
