I just bought ghost recon 2 summit strike this last sunday and plyed the game all week until today without an error and then as the live game ended it froze and the red x error came up and said to restart so i did thinking nothing of it. Then i started my xbox back up. To my surprise it would not read the game so i tried it a few times and it said not readable and i tried many other games too still no luck. The funny part is that my xbox is only a year old and has the samsung dvd drive in it and i am boggled why this game error has ruined my console luckily it hasn't ruined my old 02 xbox yet but it may happen.

Never heard of that before. Sounds like cooincidence, but I am sure you don't want to hear that.

Harry has it occured to you that you received the red x error because there was something wrong with your xbox? and not because the game screwed the console?

As ick says its just coincedence that this game was in the drive when it happened

Yea many of us long time players of GRSS have been thorough plenty of ghost recon Red X's. Attempt to clean it out that fixes most things for me.

I Never had any problems with this xbox and i always cleaned my xbox and blew out the fan and sides my electronics always stay clean.
