In regards to multiplayer what's your general selection of sidearms?
I guess I would separate it into two categories. One being the "Quick Pistol Whippers" with teh USP40, Mk.23 and P22. While others are "Magnum Wielders" with the Desert Eagle and Raging Bull.
I find myself with the USP or Mk silenced with a high capacity mag.
How about you all?

If i want to annoy people i use the Glock 18 but if i want to win i use Mk23. High capacity is a better choice than laser sight but to me there's no point in using the silencer. I really dont see much of an advantage with it.

That is the stupidest comment ever. Silencers do not make guns more accurate, if anything the bullet's velocity would be decreased. Contrary to popular belief silencers do make the gun longer but it is not the same as a longer barrel. Most, if not all, silencers DO NOT have rifling so they dont make the bullet "more accurate". The biggest advantage to a supressor is the reduced muzzle flash, a factor which really doesnt even effect this game.
Jcrim: IN THE GAME the silencer is supposed to make the guns more accurate as do lasers. Also I would say the biggest advantage (in real life and in the game) to silencers is that they SILENCE the shots.
silencer is actually a isnomer it suppressers mostly the muzzle flash and some noise but does not "silence" a weapon to the extent it is some time potrayed.
and the oster above is correct that in the game a silencer does give better accuracy although this is not the real world effect but then i dont mysteriously heal after 30 secs or so either.
The mk in my opinion is the most well rounded pistol in this game. Its got accuracy, range and a good fire rate.A suppressor eliminates muzzle flash, calms down recoil and obviously reduces sound which would give the shooter in most cases more accurate shots as stated.People are confusing actually making the gun itself more accurate with giving the shooter better accuracy,Im talking about real life btw. Most of you have probably never even shot a gun let alone a silenced one and are simply typing what you found on some random site. This mechanic might not be used right in the game as far as the accuracy part but it is what it is.
I use the dessert eagle no matter what the raging bul isn't acurate enough and the glock isn't strong enough and I don't seethe point of a slencer sure it might give you a little stealth but the vitim usualy tells the other team where he was killed giving away your position
