Well, that is all assuming you actually have his i.p. instead of some proxy from ouside the country. These guys are banned by g.u.i.d., now if that g.u.i.d. is setup via proxy then he can just change it real fast and pop right back on under another name. You forget, this what they derive fun from. They dont stop untill they succeed and they dont succeed untill they can do it and not get caught.

hey we pay for our servers, we can say he made people leave because of hes "1337 haxor" skills and we want restitution for the server fees and humilation =) lol

Anyone know if punksbusted is supporting a masterban list for this game yet.. setting that up on your server would be ideal but this will work.
Im real sorry to hear about specops_ranger too. i really liked him. he seemed informative and even without the cheats he seemed like a real good player. Mature and respectfull. The real sad part is.. i dont think he really thought he was doing anything wrong. heck everyone could just put a sticky circle on their monitor right? wouldnt that produce the same effect? |

im sorry im ignorant, but i know **** about gaming hacks, what is rethacks? what does the tiny colors mean , the lined ones, how does it work?, how can u get that screen shot? only caught them if u host a server? if u spectate a player?

I myself am kinda new to the whole cheat seen. them screenshots are generated 2 ways through punkbuster. A. an admin can go in and force a Screenshot(SS) of any player through the control panel. B. Your servers punkbuster config can be edited to take SS's randomly of all players in the server.
The SS's of the little dot in the middle of the screen seems pretty harmless but does give a player an unfair advantage that the game developers did not intend to give any 1 player. [the true meaning of altered game files=cheats] that dot indicates where their center of fire will be, which is usually only known when you draw your gun. By having a dot permanantly there you increass your hipshot(not zoomed in) accuracy and you can line up your shots quicker while you are running. other cheats are much more complicated and much more difficult to catch. Players remove recoil from their guns, retlock=your gun automatically aligns a shot. much much much more. Clans that operate servers try real hard to find hackers and ban them to offer everyone a FAIR/Fun gaming experience. Its a-lot of work but well worth it. No one wants to be beat by someone using cheats. |

Hey Ninjaboy, I for one appreciate the time and effort you are spending trying to make Vegas 2 secure for the true gamer. (Ubisoft should be putting forth a strong effort to stop this problem, but then they can't even fix the game) I know you spend many hours at this with no compensation. These cheats/hacks will kill this game, (along with the many other problems) so you would think UBI would make this issue a priority. I have always hated cheats and cheaters, but have always considered who these people really are .. They are mostly losers who can't accomplish anything in life without cheating. If they cheat in a game, they most likely cheat at everything the do. They accomplish nothing on their own merit, and probably put forth no effort nor work at anything they do. If players have to cheat to win, then they haven't won anything! I guess it's just a lazy attempt to get ahead! Maybe they are just insecure and can't stand to lose or do anything in life fairly! Have you contacted the people at Even Balance to see if they are working on a patch?? I just submitted a ticket with a link to your thread .. hope you don't mind. PB should put you on their payroll!! I would help with this issue, but have no knowledge in this field. Thanks for your time spent! |

I personally dont play online with yall... we (group of us) play vegas 1 (just got vegas 2 so playing it now instead of 1) if there are 4 or less people and the 4 have vegas 2 graw 2 if 5 or more... or 1 person doesnt have vegas2 yet... there are 7 of us.... all friends... we use ventrilo to talk and we password our sessions as we got tired of the cheaters.. in vegas 1 I was playing and a guy had a shotgun that shot like a sniper rifle and shot 500 bullets... never reloaded and it shot like a machine gun..... so we left that board... cheating has been around for ever and ruins everything.... even when you saw someone using spells in the town for diablo... you knew they were running trainers and it ruined it all... once again.. glad yall are doing something about it... ~Jeff  |

PB only kicks players from servers when a hack is detected. Unless the hack was aimed toward PB itself then they become hardware banned from any game that is running PB. The master ban list you are talking about are ran by Punksbusted and PBBans, niether of which are directly related to PB. But a third party that collects PB "kicks" and if the kick is serious enough it adds them to a "master ban list" that can be shared by members of thier respective groups. Though your server has to be streaming to either PsB or PBBans in order for them to be added to a master ban list. You do not understand. That "yellow dot" does not just indicate it's just a harmless "yellow dot" it is a known RET HACK cheat that also has an aimbot included. It locks the players rets from moving and also instantly targets the enemies head when they come into range. Just because you do not see the "ESP" wallhack feature on EVERY screen with the yellow dot doesn't mean they're not using that feature as well. It just means you can only see the yellow dot rethack on their screen probably because no other players were in front of the guy. Notice the other yellow dot rethack screenshot that DOES contain the Blue box with the player's health behind a wall. The other player was too far away to completely see everything including his name. Evenbalance is working on releasing the first batch of bans/updates I am sure. That Krebinator guy was in the squadgames server, i think the team survival. I know he was cheating, but could not prove it. In fact, I warned him that he was going to get banned. Ninjaboy, you should check your screenshots from last friday. Ban his ass

Just set your servers up to stream to PsB and PBBans. Then the list is updated automatically and shared amongst all servers that are steaming to PsB and PBBans.

Go read my post on punksbusted.com a few weeks ago regarding the first cheater I caught in Vegas 2 the day it came out. After that response I really can't support Punksbusted.com. They have no clue about the Vegas 2 community and made unintelligent bold broad sweeping statements that did them a great discredit. Some of the guys there are cool I am sure but thier policies are flawed and their attitude is absurd and promotes cheating. I perfer to either offer PBStreaming myself or distribute the pbbans.dat weekly on our website to the other servers as I have been doing.
