Squadgames has been very active in scanning and banning cheaters on all of our servers.
We are now offering our PBBANS.DAT file to other admins.
The list only contains VERIFIED cheaters. We hope to replicate this list on all Vegas 2 PC servers.

Simply unzip and copy/paste the contents of this file pbbans.dat to your \kellergame\pb\pbbans.dat file and you are set!
If you do not have a PBBANS.DAT file add this file to your \pb\ directory.

unbelievable. *downloaded* No more colors in our servers. Just saw Mr.purple a couple of says ago.

Latest cheater. Notice the Yellow Dot on the middle of the screen while he's moving. He has the ESP and Radar cheat portion of the hack disable but the Ret lock is enabled. This yellow dot is present on the standard Vegas 2 cheat and is on all his screenshots.

I was in game playing with him and can verify this 100%.

Also the pbbans.dat file was updated. Download link is available in the first post.

I should also note I was kicking his ass even though he had this cheat enabled. It was incredibly obvious however that his rets were completely closed. Pretty pathetic. I will be attempting to find his personal information through our cable company contacts. The information will be posted on our website when we located it.

LOL 20 people playing Vegas and 10 of them are hackers. LOFFLS.

If you're going to lie at least make it believable.
Not something someone can easily check by going into the game a game monitoring service.

You probably already know how stupid you sound so I am assuming this is just another one of your trolls. Let educate you however on the numbers - we host 64 players ourselves on an almost 24/7 basis. Trinity gaming has 20 servers up alone with a few of them filled consistantly. There are about 10 Squad servers with servers with players on them consistantly filled to max 16 - ICB, Vibe, SCE, etc.

The *AVERAGE* number of PC players online at one time playing Vegas 2 is around 250 and increasing weekly. Out of those 250 there are probably 2-3 "unbanned" hackers at a time floating around out there. Let's not forget that doesn't even include all the people playing on Hamachi or other non-UBI type networks.

Stop QQing and play the game more maybe you'd be halfway decent with some practice and not so bitter.

While I applaud your effort against cheaters, you've got to admit the numbers are pretty sad considering how long the game has been out for.

There should be more and UBI is to blame for it no doubt. This game should have around 800 servers up instead of around 75 and the player count should be in the thousands.

However that being said I constantly get full ggz 24/7 so even though the population is less it hasn't affected gameplay at all.

does the yellow dots or tiny colors means the player using a cheat patch? is it autoaim? unlimitd amo? or ..? i assumed alot of players cheating but dont want to accuse without proofs, some seem very obvious: shoting u with one shot close to coming out of nowere but again, or unlimited enemy scanner (gps) so they always know were u are wich would xplain they always close to you withing seconds to u when u hide to snipe. i know some ppl can be sharp shooters playing alot all day but like the game been out for a week or 2 already got the highest rank, thats bulll****. last team match some players with the same prefix ex: (abc) player1 (abc) player2 by coincidence they are all high ranked and outscoring everyone, good player ? questionable... some ppl know more about cheating then me so its just very suspicious, maybe u guy know about it more then i do like the screem shot u provided. its very frustrating to play against cheaters that make u look bad in scoring list when clean players actually DO try there best to score and shoot good with no autoaim...

Rethack / Aimbot.

Most of them made it fairly obvious when we caught them. The Yellow Dot is a commonly used Rethack.

Also you can see the blue outline box with health bars which is also part of the mod hack. It's an ESP hack.

We are very cautious on who we globally ban but everyone submitted is 100% cheating without question.

Wow. I was playing with SpecOps Ranger just the other day, no idea he was hacking, although he was getting double/triple the kills anyone else had, thought it was just because he was good.

And yeah, that's pretty pathetic. 250 players for a game that isn't even a month old. That makes me really worried for how many people will still be playing a month or two from now, because I like this game.

This hacking **** is what finished Graw off for alot of us. Not only do these guys have retlocks and esp/wallhacks but many of them subscribe to a site that run false guid and ip through a proxy allowing them to bounce right back on after being banned. My last day in Graw i banned 2 guys that were clearly moving in and out of static props and within 5 minutes they were right back in. We also had a guy that recorded himself hacking against one of ours clanmates and then posted video of it in our forums braggin about it. Pretty lame.

No need to feel frustrated really, there's a community-wide effort going on to stop hackers as evidenced by this thread. Anyone who tries to hack will be nailed up in public, so it's all for our amusement if anyone tries to hack right now.

I doubt Vegas 2 has any cheat makers that savvy (yet).
I know that causing a distruption on a gaming server by using a cheat/hack, especially a server used for commerical purposes, can tread a grey area in some states on being illegal.
The first person to take a cheater to court on a case like that would certainly make the evening (if not national news) rofl.
While you might not be able to prove the distruption was "criminal" it wouldn't be a stretch for you to prove the cheater caused damages to your server/gaming business in a civil case.
