Hi everyone,

To further communicate on dates:

- The PS3 and XBOX360 updates are available now.
- The PC update will be available July 2, 2008 and we will post the links as soon as they go live.
- The FREE Map Pack will be available July 3, 2008 world wide, all platforms.

The automatic update and map pack are separate. Both are free. You can find the map pack on XBOX Live Marketplace & PSN Store on July 3.

it doesn't, it still happens but it doesn't happen as frequently.

To those that think the Tango AI spawning problem is fixed, it isn't. It still happens also because i've seen two of them spawn right on top of a friend who has it installed and they still at times spawn in rooms already cleared but not as frequently.

im so excited about the updated and new map for v2. anyhow, im confused on weither or not the new map is available as of today on the ps3? because you also, noted that i will be available on the ps3 on july 3rd? which one is the correct date? thanks!

The Title Update is available now and should update automatically when you start up the game.

The maps will be a free download available from (in your case) the PSN store as of July 3.

The new update seems to be working pretty good.I jumped to Elite 19 today. Im not so sure about the grenade indicator cause i didnt like it on COD but at least the random respawns are fixed so i can go back to TDM instead of Team Leader.

This is great cant wait to play the new maps.

In the last rainbow six game, it took me a year to get to lt. col. now my friend became a colonel in a moneth because of this damn update, and i only got a ****in helmet that i cood of unlocked. I think that i shood get my hard earned rank back. I know that all of u guys r going to call me a faggot for writing this, but i think i deserve it, and i might be the first to complain, but w/e.

Nice stuff Ubi. I was very happy to see random respawns an OPTION now. And the High Stakes was quite fun, and allows the game to have a nice change of pace depending on how you want to play.

I'm excited for the maps, Calypso Especially. The reduxes are COOL, but I personally like the newer maps (and even tho CC is from 1, the fact that now I can go back and get EXP in it is awesome). Plus, I love having more THunt maps to play with friends in splitscreen.

I think think Ubi did really deliver on some great things, and gave us a nice upgrade to the ranks to keep us playing. Hell, people were asking for this in Vegas 1, it makes sense now why they waited til now, since its the last Vegas game, well have plenty of ranks to keep us busy.

I know people are asking for more new or revamp maps, but remember this is a free pack, and for being free, its pretty damn good.

Im sure theyll release another 5 map, map pack or two like they did in Vegas 1, which may have 3 new maps, and maybe 2 Vegas 1 maps.

Thank you Ubi...can't wait to play, which will happen in about 15 min.

Consider the following in a patch, update or new title...

1. Allow firing of sidearms, while on a ladder. If I can hang upside on a rappel line and shoot why can't I do the same on a ladder (except for hanging down).

2. Make NVG's and thermal googles equipment that you must select. Being in the military (Air Force) I know that they can be mounted on your kevlar helmet...however I've never seen a setup where both are combined in one system or on one helmet. This would also make smoke gernades useful at close range vs. just throwing them out for protection against snipers.

3. Allow for multiple attachments on the weapons; i.e. the benchmark would be what exists in reality...clearly you should be able to have a scope and an extended magazine on your weapon.

Again, the above are just merely suggestions. I love the title, APPRECIATE THE UPDATE, and look forward to more great titles from you all at Ubisoft. Thanks
