What the hell were the ubisoft developers thinking when they removed the hosts ability to see everybodys ping in the lobby ?

Hosts have no idea who the red pingers are so they have to guess who they are resulting in people getting kicked who might not have a red ping.

Could ubisoft screw a game up anymore ?

then just dont join red bar games. not that hard. And if your hosting dont host a full 12 man game and kick the ppl who join and lag up the game

You sound like one of the goons at ubisoft "Well um err if yer gettin lag jus host a smalla room" haha Seriously the fact that I cant host a relatively lag free 12 man room with a 25mbps download 7mbps upload isnt any fault of mine its ubisofts, COD4&5 runs better at slower speeds but unlike rainbow those games have a matching system that minimizes people with bad connections.

In vegas 1 people with red pings would join the room all the time ..you had proof of it in the lobby (everybody could see their ping) and it made a huge difference to how well the game ran when they came and left but lo and behold vegas 2 comes out and viola no more host visible pings in the lobby .

Ubisoft knifed this game and their customers in the back in so many ways its not even funny.

Call of Duty world at war, PC version can host 52 players without lag. How sad is that for Rainbowsix vegas 2 that cant even host 12 players without lag?

Why has this tit just compared a console game to a pc game?

Let me explain something for you.
PC usually connect to servers. (Like console EA games)
Console games (bar EA games, as far as I know) are console hosted. This means that someone's console is not only running the game but sorting all the data transfer.

We all know that real gaming PCs have far better hardware. They can even have uprated network cards fitted (like the killer NIC cards).

They have more RAM, faster processors and better video cards. This allows for more data to be processed and managed than on a console.

Please, for the love of god, don't compare a console to a PC, it's just not practical. I play console, if I could afford it, I'd play pc as pc does give a better experience overall. However, I'd rather spend my money on bikes than computers, I guess I'm just not a big enough nerd.
