looks a bit like a rambo style american game :/ , but the graphics are nice. will prob try this out to see if theres anything realistic in it apart from the explosions. looks like another cod or cs clone though from the movie

It does look good, the graphics I mean, but as the poster above I'm a little skeptical, but thanks for posting, I will check it out when it releases for sure.

Downloading as I post!

The weapons look better than Vegas 2 and this is a free game.

Running a beta test and patching as needed .. WOW! Could Ubisosft learn a leasson from Nexon!!!!!

Graphics do look good, a little to Rambo-ish for my taste and I don't like to play online but I am also going to give it a try over the weekend since it is FREE and because I am getting tired of the Tango Hunt Fest from Vegas 2

very fun game! Kinda like counterstrike, and the customizing also makes it alot of fun.

Looks good, but I want an SDK so that I can modify the game to be more tactical for my tastes.

  • Even for a flop on pc i got to admit that the vision of the artist(s) for Vegas is beyond speech. What i am seeing in game now is by far the best i have seen in any other game for realism. (coding) was the problem.
  • For a community that had potential to help YOU(UBI) they are the ones lurking in the shadows waiting for something better and you refuse to help. Even yourself.? This I don't understand.
  • Release some tools to the pc community for an over all better RaInbow 6 division.

Because it's free, so if it turns out to be a dud, as many tend to be, no real loss. But if it turns out to be a quality game, with recommended specs matching games from 2-3 years ago, then people won't mind spending money of the next installment.

The devs took the saying "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!", to heart. That's why they refuse to remove any of the bugs or glitches!

Not really the realistic game I'm looking for, but hey it's free. So who's complaining...

But I do find it strange that it's free. What's the catch because it looks rather good?

What better way for an unheard of dev house to make a splash on the market. I think it's brilliant. These guys could have been working on this on the side for years, no deadlines, so they may not have seen it as a cash cow, much as the old mod team were that created CS, and team fortress were.

I'd hire those devs right now if I had the money.

Well, this is not good, I registered with Nexon, activated the account, I then needed to register with fileplanet (not liking this registering to much but ok, I can be blabby sometimes Wink), but now that I have to get the dang beta key, something is blocking the image and I all see is "INVALID CODE" so I can get it.

You know, FREE is one thing but when they make you jump through hoops forever, that gets my blood going a bit.

I have placed both sites on my trusted sites and Privacy settings and still... a big NOTHING

I may try this later on again but for now, I'm going to play team fortress to release some stress Veryhappy

No idea, but it might turn out that you need to pay for certain features as in WarRock which also is free, in warrock you have to pay to be able to use clan features as well as for certain weapons.

EDIT: No it actually seems like there's no catch at all, everything is free and will remain free, you can pay if you want, thats it Smile

I can't get that key site to work in Firefox, I always need to use IE for it.

But how did you get a key at all ? I tough you where outside US ? please tell me, cause I can't get a key Smile

I am also going with IE and I had to set all those sites on my TRUSTED SITES & PRIVACY SETTINGS, even though I hate to do so since I don't frequent them at all, but, in the need to sign up and play the game I went ahead with it.

NO, I am in the US but I have NOT been able to get the key to validate it and be able to play the game, hence, my anger with them at the moment.

In order for you to get the key, you have to use some sort of capshaw (or whatever they call it, which is where you need to type some sort of numbers and letters and then click on the submit button), this is where I am stuck at the moment so, alas, I have not been able to play the game! Angry

Perhaps they are no longer issuing beta keys? Has anyone here been able to get their beta keys?

I got one early this morning after reading the post. I'm the US... Richmond, VA.

It was weird though. I used Firefox, and signed up for an account at both places. worked fine.

Totally better than what Ubisoft will ever accomplish for the next million years.
