My Vegas 2 game shows trees/pillars and other objects all in blue. I don't know if it is my graphics card, its not the best (Nvidia Geforce 6800GS) and all my video settings are set to low. Any suggestions?

Here are some things to try:

Download and install newest grapics drivers:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_175.19_whql.html

Be sure to uninstall old ones first.
If your mother board has an nvidia chipset .. the drivers in add\remove are your chipset drivers .. don't uninstall those:

Right click "My computer"
Select "Properties"
Hardware
Device manager
Click the + next to Display adapters
Right click your card and select unistall
Click OK

Don't restart your computer yet
Go to your C: drive and delete the
Nvidia folder

Now restart, but cancel all messages that come up.

Now run the new driver
Restart when finished.

Another possiblity:
Download this latest Direct X reditributable:
Direct X June

Extract to a folder:
Open the folder and run DXSETUP.exe
It will only update the files neccessary!

One more thing:
Set Antialiasing to none:
I have seem several strange problems with that!

You can use antialaidsing, but there is sometimes a problem when you force it in the driver, and activate it in the game at the same time.

You should try setting it to application controled, and then activating it in game.

Ubisoft is absolutely no help, so you will have to depend on the few gamers in these forums who are still willing to help where they can!

I have seen several problems when AA is set to application controlled!

I can run AA at Level 8, but I found the game actually loads faster when set to none.

I have a fairly high end system and can run at 1920 x 1200 with everything on and set at max but that doesn't help the players who can't.

Its not game related but ever since i did what you said yesterday, Internet Explorer has been opening non stop. I don't get any tabs that show its open but ctrl alt delete under processes it shows its open and the memory usage just gets bigger and bigger, ontop of that i can hear pop ups talking (advertisments) and everytime i click End Process it just opens back up again.

That sounds like a virus!

Do you have a good antivirus program??

Also, do you have a router because that is a good hardware internet security tool?

I don't know how i got it... it did it right after i did that graphics stuff because i went right onto the game then it'd start talking to me and all that...
