Hello all

i been playing rainbow for along time and as it grew it has gotten better but my opine it still needs improving

i thought of a few ideas that would bring extra game play to the actual game without causing to much trouble with coding (i think)

first is updating T hunts with more tactical Tangos in the story there Elites and Snipers and Shielded Tangos i think it be a good idea if this feature were in actual T hunts it give the on line more of a tactical approach to the game play

also possibly having the T hunt holding hostages so we don't just run and grenade and the way could work is if a hostages dies t hunt over

ANOTHER IDEA

is that there be a whole new on line mode "objectives" kinda like T hunt but more skillful

this idea was kinda in the game back in the day

anyway the idea is team of 4 to 6 players complete objectives to win

lets say

LOCATION = Streets

TANGOS = 70

HOSTAGE'S = 10

CASUALTY'S = 2

INTEL to Collect = 3

PRIME TARGET = 1

thats giving us a rule book to play with

the team starts some were on the map and basically needs to achieve the primary task to complete lets say save the hostages collect Intel and eliminate prime target

this idea bit sketchy ATM will try update it when i clear my head lol

this game needs more game play bringing to it and not just silly maps

the idea i came up with are kinda in the game so it wouldn't/shouldn't be too much trouble

I love your second idea, a game mode that requires you to do many objectives. Thats awesome and you get choose what objective to do first and you can play it on every multiplayer map. The only thing missing would be a mission planner.

All the factors that make us human... can kill us.

Bro i have an idea...i like yours alot. But i have a variation because you made me think of Classic UT. Same thing a few numerous objectives. Each need to be accomplished in order to Win the match. One team attacks, the other defends.

Just examples;

You spawn outside the enemy base but not just right outside, some walking/running required.

first you gotta secure the door or otherwise break it/open it to enter. This grants you points/xp.

Second you have to make your way further into the base. The defending and attacking teams respawns may be adjusted accordingly. Next you have to secure a document or package. Grab it and either take it with you or bring back to the chopper to score some points again. But you can't score it unless you bring it back or complete all objectives.
**EDIT**: If the package/document/bomb carrier is killed then the package drops where left it of course.

Then lastly take escort some hostages or maybe plant a bomb.

The actual objectives could be anything. To win the match you have to accomplish all objectives or prevent the other team from doing so.
Like i said, even if the attacking team loses, they take any XP or points gained by accomplishing any objectives. As well as the obvious bonus for a win.

The only problem is if the defending team wont get as many points if THEY lose. Though their job is somewhat easier as they just have to defend the key positions as they follow.

When Philip Therein (or his lackeys) read your post, they'll just snicker and "officially" suggest it at their next meeting.

Community developer: "Ok, next on the agenda is the list of features that the forum users have been overwhelmingly suggesting."

Philip Therein: "Skip that. That's a typo."

Community developer: "Come again?"

Philip Therein: "Typo on the agenda."

Community developer: "But what about the customers?"

Philip Therein: "What about them?"

  • Even for a flop on pc i got to admit that the vision of the artist(s) for Vegas is beyond speech. What i am seeing in game now is by far the best i have seen in any other game for realism. (coding) was the problem.
  • For a community that had potential to help YOU(UBI) they are the ones lurking in the shadows waiting for something better and you refuse to help. Even yourself.? This I don't understand.
  • Release some tools to the pc community for an over all better RaInbow 6 division.
