one thing ubi isn't known for is their generosity(joke of a game for 50/60 dollars, stinginess in terms of new content, etc.)
mega corporations that sell shoddy products to the masses usually stay away from largess behavior. god forbid they lose the all important "profit" by for once making a game that isn't completely worthless.

Yeah, notice the console people announcing the patch, not UBI or anyone running this board. There has yet to be an official announcement on the boards regarding the PS3 patch.
Sure, I read from another forum a patch for PS3 is out, but I haven't seen it here. And from what I've read it doesn't sound like anyone is happy about it. I'm still waiting for bullet lag to be fixed. I think it would be great if someone from UBI just addressed the issue and let us know whether or not it's gonna be fixed or not. Even if the answer is no, please let us know so I don't have to continue hoping.
This game strangely lasted around two weeks with my group of friends. We've moved on to IL-2 Sturmovik, due to the fact that playing an online game nowadays is impossible. Villa is an amazing map, in my opinion. I love it, it's awesome. However, we can't get through one round of gameplay before the game crashes.
We'll dust off the cobwebs when Ubi gets their collective behinds into gear and patches the PC version. Until then, consider it shelved.
This is the reason I broke down and bought an XBOX. I was a hardcore PC gamer up til R6V2 released.
Almost every game besides MMOs are developed for XBOX 360 then ported to PCs.
I was tired of the all the problems. I wanted to play a game right out of the box.
Best decision I made. Look at the issues the PC players are having. Take a look at the ever expanding cheating thread. XBOX play has been silky smooth with no issues. Yes I had to sacrifce no AA and AS turned on but my gaming experience is 100% better than the PC version could've even offered. Did I mention the amount of players on the XBOX are 4:1 that of PC gamers.

You may be one of the lucky ones then, not 3 weeks ago, the majority of the Xbox 360 owners were calling a Mutiny against UBI but, you are somewhat right, problem is, the closer the Consoles get to a PC performance, the more problems you guys are bound to have since UBI can Play the "Sell now, Fix later" game (well, they did it already with the 360 & PS3 version of this game... no thank you!).
---------------- 0 ----------------- 0------------- What does it take to get a simeple answer from UBI about the PC? If you guys think the Vegas 2 forums are crowded with hate & Negative posts from the PS3 and the few 360 folks, wait until the PC game is launched...

The PC version was patched on release. Thats not to say it wont receive another, I've not got info to suggest either way at this time but the PC version was patched before any other version
thats very interesting however, its not whats in the patch that we are refering to, but rather the patch number and the release date for said patch. It shows that rather then ironing out the wrinkles in the pc version they have been spending time fixing problems in the console version as of late. Granted, it doesnt seem to have worked and i could appreciate them spending more time to make sure the pc patch works.
Ghost I didnt ignore it, I have already said in another thread that I'm looking into the PS3 patch because at this point in time I have no information on it

Yes, the PC version was delayed 3 weeks and a patch was released on launch, but they missed many serious issues that still haven't been addressed.
All we PC gamers are asking for is some type of confirmation that these issues are being acknowledged by Ubisoft and that a patch to fix them is in the works.
I don't believe that is too much to ask for after buying a product that is broken and unfinished in so many ways!!
Yes it is playable if you play only the few stable maps that are available and you don't mind not hearing Ai gunfire in many levels, and can contend with the many other bugs and glitches.
But why should we be made to settle for such an unfinished and untested product?
No other company in any other industry, could get away with Ubisoft's method of doing business and the way the ignore their customers!!
I keep returning to these forums in hopes of finally finding a new patch release for PC that actually fixes the issues and makes this the fun game that it could be!!!
I think most on these forums realize that the fault certainly isn't with you, but a total disregard by Ubisoft for it's customers!
It is going on a month since Vegas 2 was released and there isn't so much as an acknowledgement from Ubisoft as to a fix for the issues everyone is dealing with on the PC and posting in these forums.

Good choice, flight sims are becoming a bit neglected over the years, but IL2 Sturmovik was so good that i played it for 6+ years, and it does completely dominate the flight sim genre with an unprecidented amount of people flying online. Its very stable, you can fly for 2-3 hour missions if you like, knowing your game wont crash, and just an incredible amount of highly detailed aircraft. Such things as 8 people in gunning positions in a bomber verses another people in another bomber try to shoot each other, all online, much fun )) It was the most fun game (call it a sim to flight simmers) ever. In fact it used to be an Ubisoft distributed game, however, 1C:Maddox the Developers decided to a move away from Ubi was a good thing, and now they are working on Storm of War, (for past few years). which is really going to be something special with a highly realistic atmosphere system, the first time its been done in any sim. Honestly, if they used Unreal engine, they would be screwed,
