Hi guys. Even though I work on various titles, Rainbow Six holds a special place in my heart. Any one of you who have played with me online will agree. I work on multiple titles and I do hear your voices. I am currently working on various activities with Rainbow Six Vegas 2, such as my recent thread for Play With LevelUp nights, updating the HELP site with Fan Pack schematics and info, etc. As for answers to your questions, there are currently no answers I can communicate at the moment, which is why I am focusing on playing the game and planning community events. Thanks.

I really do appreciate your response to my post. I fully understand that you are responsible for more (probably much more) than just this game.
Could you explain to me why we never received the same opportunity to pass along questions and receive answers directly from the developers on this forum that the people of the snowboarding game did? I think that's a bit unfair. Do you not have any answers for us in regards to this game because development has stopped for this game? Could you at least tell us whether there are developers still assigned to this game? Thanks again for responding. |

Why are you planning community events? That is the community managers job unless that has changed too? Given that in the past the Community Developers were at least able to acknowledge that patches were being worked on to fix issues, I guess we can take this to mean that programming support has stopped for Vegas 2. This means we are stuck with the untested fan pack that only retains its settings for one round. Well, thanks for at least coming on here and telling us that you can't tell us anything. Please pass on to your management that their customer service is horrible. |

Nothing personal LevelUp but it's been over a month since 1.03 was released, which never worked and still doesn't work correctly. And you say that you have no information on whether or not it is/is going to be fixed!??! I am sorry but I have to call pure BS. Seriously, how long can a company IGNORE it's PAYING customers? Long enough with the hope we just go away? The flow of information may be out of your hands but somebody needs to get a point accross to the person who is in charge of infomation or make decisions that the game, that you claim has a special place in your heart, doesn't work!

Which is fairly consistent with what has been the Ubi corporate policy for the last several years now. Tight control of information at the top with little to no authority/allowance given to employees to post on the forums. The employees they do allow to post here and manage the forums and keep the forums clean on a daily basis seem to be intentionally kept in the dark on most things (Ms. Kleaneasy for example). Often times we have received news via various sources or patches have been released without Ms. Klean or Kimi knowing they were out - leaving them scrambling for information to post on the forums. ------------------------------- "I just blew your mind, didn't I? SDK? They won't even release the map editor that comes with every other Unreal 3 Engine game, except Vegas 1 and Vegas 2......Though I believe with the Unreal 3 Map Editor it is essentially a SDK as well since you can create a completely new game from just the editor itself.

What you are telling us is that your server or game is not broken so people can enjoy playing the game with you?

Ahhhhh, "Planning Community Events", this is a very important thing to do to fix a broken game. You came in, type a bunch of dribble and in the end, you didn't say anything... Very Smart way to insult your customers. ---------------- 0 ----------------- 0------------- What does it take to get a simeple answer from UBI about the PC? GRAW I & II, Vegas 1 & 2 were throwned to the Lion's den and now FC2 is going to suffer the same fate? How Proud are you UBI? |

Hence why I said BS. There is information but he is not allowed to share it yet (if ever). But since it's been over a month since it's been know the patch was botched and we haven't heard anything I doubt we ever will. |

Ubisoft Devs are like the Adults in Charlie brown they type stuff but yet are we get is Bwow Bwow Bwow really, if you can't say any thing post up saying hey guys and gals I can't post anything since my bosses will not let me post so we can keep our secrets to ourselves I mean its a lie but at least is a semi good one.
