I read the article twice because I thought I must be missing something, then realised the statement refered to is a comment make by someone calling themself the 'Ubisoft Team' and that they did so on a system letting them pick any name they want, without spell checking and contradicting all info I've been given this week about the trophies so I think its pretty safe to say someones pulling legs

Thanks for a quick response...no matter how bad the news is. Since you are here, let me trouble you with this. When it comes to older games published by Ubisoft, is it safe to assume that we won't be seeing any trophies?? Thanks. Faith Based Risk. |

At this stage its not safe to say anything, as far as I know there havnt been any firm decisions either way but I am seeking firm answers across all titles and will update when I have more info

As maybe but it wasn’t the website that wrote the statement about Ubisoft supporting trophies it was an anonymous user posting a comment in reply to an article within that website so shouldnt be taken as anything other than rumour/ trouble making

When will you people realize that Ubifail will never do what is right for the gamers, but always do what is convenient for themselves.
When they released Vegas 2 it was simply an expansion pack and not a brand new game. When they released the "Map Pack" with "new" maps it was simply old maps they had already made, but they just turned down the brightness. It seems that this is normal because there was an actual Developers Diary in which they "excitedly" announced that for a brand new R6 game they would be using the same maps from a previous game. HMMM, that in and of itself is just plain lazy. So no, do not expect them to actually do some work and patch support for PS3 trophies. That would involve having to pay someone to actually produce something semi-new. And that's just not the business that Ubifail is into. |

If they don't patch this game, I might be forced to agree with you. But as of now, there is no official word out on the trophy update. I read that Sony will force companies to include trophies on their games starting in 2009. Patching RSV2 would give them a jump start on the new addition to PS3 gaming... Faith Based Risk. |

Gearbox has stated they will support trophies for their upcoming games, including BIA Hells Highay, which is published by Ubisoft. I beginning to think that they don't care, and I am confused on why. Faith Based Risk. |
