Hi guys, I'm excited to announce our first major Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 Tournament!

Using its extensive online tournament experience and dedicated offline gaming events, TNWA Group will be running competitions across both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Players can visit TNWA’s console gaming site devotii to register.

TNWA will provide both the online and offline aspects of the competition. Players will be able to register and qualify online for the competition, with the Xbox360 finals being held at Uttoxeter racecourse during CLUK 21 in July.

“Our expertise in running PC based events is well known and we can now use this to bring professional high quality competition and event management to both the Xbox 360 and PS3 communities via our console gaming site devotii” said Peter Simpson, TNWA’s devotii Manager “We want to bring the ultimate competitive gaming experience to the next-gen range of consoles and R6V2 is the perfect title for this”

I hope to see some of you taking part and hopefully at the finals in July!

Actually, no, it wasn't a joke. The poster clearly states that they have "expertise in running PC based events." Well, if that is the case, why not one for the PC platform of R6V2.

Well, in that case, forget it. Let them ruin the experience for the Xbox/PS3 folks.

The tournament is being organised and run by an external tournament site called devotii, they are probably the best to ask about the possibility of a tournament on other platforms

it aint gonna be a rainbow 6 tournaiment more like a halo 3 one!!! if u hadnt of guessed i was talking about the random respawns!!!!

dont mean to be snide, but most of us dont even have a working game!!! would be nice to join a tournament, but it would be even nicer to be able to use the product i spent £40 on!!
