hi, so im relatively new to this game, and i am havign a hard time adjusting to this game. one is the realism aspect, where the reticules spread apart so easily.

when you're ina clsoe combat situation, meeting an enemy by a suprise (u didnt expect anyone), what woyuld you do? Do you crouch for extra accuracy and hope he dies?

What if he strafes around? Do you stay still (maintainign a small reticule) and attempt to shoot? Which makes u a sitting duck.

so i appreicate if anyone w/ alot of experience can help a newbie out.

You definitely don't want to stand still.

What I do is start moving backwards (away from him) and move side to side at the same time. It's harder to hit a moving target. All while trying to take him out, throw a grenade too.

how do ppl have such good aim?

i know this game isn't like COD where you can spray your gun. in close range, i mean liek a few feet from you, it's too hectic to actually think and pulse ur gun and aim ur right analog stick. How do you guys manage i nthese situations.

oh and do u guys use scopes or anyhting? or do u guys just attatch a high capacity magazine?

There are several reasons people can kill you so easily. 1. the have no life and play the game all day so they have LOTS of practice. 2. they are cheating, using lag switches or auto aim.

I use keep a scope on my gun, I use the G3KA4 most of the time with an ACOG scope. it's a good close up assault rifle but with the scope it makes a decent sniper as well.

i cant really help you as this game has a lot of different was to be played. You just need to keep playing out of enjoyment until you find the way that works for you.

what i tend to do is have two main verses sets. offensive and defensive.
my offensive set includes the 500 tactical with laser and the raging bull. the 500 provides very good shock value in case of a sudden encounter while the bull will provide a decent long rang weapon.
defensive is the l96 with a g18. the l96 is my sniper of choice in verses modes (the SD25 in TH) as it can shoot threw almost anything and kill no matter where it hits. the g18 is used when moving from nest to nest as its more a SMG then a pistol and can provide covering fire
