Just been playing patched game a bit more. Must have been released first in Australia/Pacific then UK. A more things I've noticed...

- you can filter for High Stakes game in Versus

- grenade indicator is great (I think so anyway but I just play THunt)

- my Famas just gained a sight even though I have a high capacity mag. They must have added it when they lowered the rate of fire

- Spawning in THunt seems much better, though it means Spawn Camping at the doors in Presido doesn't work as well and you have to watch your back LOL.

- I still haven't had the helicopter sound. Once it seemed like it was going to, but fixed itself in a second or two.

I'm off to play some more. Main problem is that there aren't enough games as not everyone has the patch....

Thats a pretty big update. Looks like they added a lot of hardcore feature requests without breaking it for casual gamers.

I see they added 3 maps, would have been prefered not to have a rehash of current levels and maybe re-add the unfinished weapons (To give new unlocks for the Rank/ACES system) but i guess we can thank our lucky stars we got anything!

AhHHH but no 4 player co-op

I wish you would of put the classic lean in the high stakes mode.

I wonder have they fixed any technical issues like missing and cut off sounds? Thats been one of my only issues with Vegas 2.

btw this patch is now only avaiable for europeans, does this mean Americans wont play with europeans anymore? in a way to "fix" the lag problem?

Sorry UBI but this is too little too late for me and my clan. The HS mode sounds great but unfortunately there aren't enough people playing the game to justify the purchase. Maybe...just maybe if you add these features in the next game and it runs halfway decent at launch we will pick it up. I do applaud your efforts for listening to the community and I hope you get it right next time.

note that beneath all the fluff there is one VERY important thing missing.....who could forget about the dreaded soundloop?!?!?.....or did they fix it and dont want to say because that would then be an admission that the problem really isnt everyones pc like they have said in the past?

I have the patch and can confirm that unfortunately the sound loop is NOT fixed

Thats a hell of a pack and goes along way for making up for the problems that players have been experiencing.

Personally I love the sound of the High Stakes mode. Hope the Ghost Recon developers take note.

So let me get this straight. They screwed up this game by trying to make it like COD4, and now, because they obviously haven't learned their lesson, they are adding more features to make it like COD4. Well, that figures.

And while I'm on the subject of the update: 2 maps that we already have. WTF! If I wanted to play a darker version of any map, I'd simply turn the brightness down on my TV. Are you people really that easy to please. They aren't giving anything that A. you don't already have, and B. should have gotten on the release of the game.

Just replace uk to us in the address bar when accessing the ubi site.

For me they have given exactly what I wanted.
1. No health regeneration in High Stakes
2. Server side setting for random spawns on/off in TDM
3. Terrorists will no longer spawn in a already cleared room
4. Deathmatch score in hud
5. Spawn at teamleader, with options to spawn at base
6. No 360 view in High Stakes/Changes to the third person view in high stakes
7. Aim assistance completely disabled in High Stakes
8. Bullet spread increased while not zoomed in.
9. Radar disabled in High Stakes.
10. Calypso Casino.

All of the above is important to me, it should have been there already out of box, however I honestly don't care as it now seems that ubi are attempting to fix up the game with the most important fixes voiced by the community.

Things missing in the update (?)
1. Display of server ping times in server lobby
2. Fixed voice recognition system
3. Proper sads.
I'm sure there are more, but the fixes included will defiantly make me play the game again. The fixes will even make the game attractive for clans.
