either theres something wrong with your pc or something wrong with the game. make sure the game has no marks on the disk and if not i would take it back to the shop and get another one.

I have just experienced same problem and am about to re-install game on PC to see if that helps. Only bought game last Fri here in UK but not getting het up.......yet!!!
No, that didn't work. This time got hung-up on loading screen and kicked back to desktop, where a msg waited telling me 'unable to initialise direct3d'. I never had this problem with RSV. I think there is a serious problem with this PC release version. I have:
AMD64 3800 2.4ghz
Asus A8N-SLI deluxe mobo
Windows XP Pro
Geforce 8600GTS

NOPE

Sorry guys, but there's no Fix , It's been a Huge common BUG since the start of the Beta on this Multimedia product and NEVER FIXED !!
So.... Roll Eyes go figure, the Devs. need to get some CLASSES from "RELOADED" so they can learn how to fix and Build the Multimedia Product correctly Veryhappy

This is really a MEDIOCRE PORT of a weak try for a P.C. Multimedia Product.

And are def. not your Systems.

Ask for a refund Wink2 and get another game that really works, Period.

Those BSOD are not good for your systems.

What does it take to get a simeple answer from UBI about the PC? GRAW I & II, Vegas 1 & 2 were throwned to the Lion's den and now FC2 is going to suffer the same fate? How Proud are you UBI?

ROFL, you forget that the mods are here to moderate between us....not between us and UBI Winky We really are just here to keep eachother busy and out of ubi's hair. Its the typical frenchy way, divide and conquer (by hiring criminals from other more aggressive nations to fight for you in a foreign legion).

I made a simple statement. I'm not the most computer savy person, therefor, I had no solution for him/her. I just asked him to take off the caps.

McMilFn, you also forget something. Mods are not employees of Ubi. We are volunteers. Our say in things has no more sway than your say. In the end, we hear the same thing as you at the same time as you. We can link Ubi employees to different threads and such, but in the end, it's no different than if you would do it. I hope you can understand that.

actually mr hanky....i didnt forget squat. The fact remains that you are indeed volunteering to do the dirty work for the (word which you would likely sensor) company we call ubisoft. That is what seperates you from the rest of us. You motives for doing so are often questioned. If you are in fact a volunteer then please tell us what motivates you? Surely its not the fame since you really dont get any positive support. I mean, are you like my adopted mentally handicapt brother that enjoys conflict???? By taking on the task of babysitting us whinners (ill admit it, though im sure not all will), you couldnt possibly expect anything less. People dont come to the forums for a game which they perfectly enjoy. They come for support and to find out when stuff is gonna be fixed.
Its evident that this long after release, and since many issues still remain from vegas 1, that ubi has no intent to address the real issues. Everyone has a motive for everything they do, so whats yours?

My motive? I like being here because it's a cool place to hang out. There are lots of smart people here who have awesome ideas for the game. I like keeping this place civil. That is my motive. I do not sensor anything. I never have, and I never will. I'm not like that.

Hey guys, I've had nothing but problems with R6 Vegas2. it crashes my PC when I close the game or changes levels and whenever I walk through a doorway in the game it seizes for a couple of seconds, Im at my wits end trying to figure out what the problem is. I have more then enough PC to Run the Game and Im not a Noob, Im beginning to think that this game is just a "Lemon". any help or advice on getting the game working properly would be much appreciated.

AMD 6000 X2, 2GB OCZ Platinum, 2-8800GTS 640MB, Sound Blaster Audigy ZS.

thanks

Hanky, since we're on the topic about you and the forum, could you PLEASE ask bukowski to change the Vegas 2 forum from black/red/white to something lighter?

1) It's bad for people with bad vision.
2) It's bad because red causes people to FIGHT (just look at how much flaming is on here, and then look at the Assassin's Creed Ubi forum, which uses lighter colors, and see how little flaming is over there). (Also look at the GRAW forum, which is also light colored and has no flaming)

AS FAR AS THE OP'S POST GOES: Try using 3d-Analyze. No, I refuse to send you an email. :P

  • Even for a flop on pc i got to admit that the vision of the artist(s) for Vegas is beyond speech. What i am seeing in game now is by far the best i have seen in any other game for realism. (coding) was the problem.
  • For a community that had potential to help YOU(UBI) they are the ones lurking in the shadows waiting for something better and you refuse to help. Even yourself.? This I don't understand.
  • Release some tools to the pc community for an over all better RaInbow 6 division.

I can ask, but I highly doubt it, as this skin is labeled the "Rainbow Six Vegas 2" skin. But, none-the-less, I will ask.

As a side note, you seem to be jumping to conclusions about red making people fight. I don't see fist fights breaking out at red lights whilst driving Wink The thing is, this community was split in half and both sides want very different games. One side wants a run 'n gun game, whilst the other want's a tactical game. Those two personalities don't mix well Wink
