I just recieved this message while playing rainbow six 2 on my ps3.

Already been stated by UBI there will be no Vegas 3 (thank god).

I hope thats a fake cuz I thought there wasn't gonna be a Vegas 3. But it just gave me an idea.

most people on here would need to be paid to play it. why would ubi pay anyone to test anything? people would test it for free, too good to be true must be fake

And Vegas 3 better actually have maps that LOOK VEGAS-STYLE. The lighting was terrible in Vegas 2. Why was ShaderModel3 disabled by default in the PC version?

It's been stated in some interviews and videos that there will not be a Vegas 3.

Hmmm, funny, I vividly remember Un_Deux (formerly a UBI CM or FM) stating the same thing when we asked if a Vegas 2 game was in the works.

Watch the herd of UBI people that will flood the Vegas 2 forums when they come to hype their new shinny Krapolla of a game.

Make sure you download all the Interviews that Philip Therien gives so you can compare it with the actuall game when you spend your money on that POS as well.

Mr Cello I can never quite understand where you are coming from, in the past you claim – you sold your copy of Vegas 2, or you had taken it back to the retailer you purchased it from… it was one of the two. Very like the claim you made about a 3.5ghz duel core processor running at a cycle speed of 7ghz, complete fallacy isn’t it Neil… and there is more claiming ravenshield had no snow maps and that you know the R6 book all of a sudden from cover to cover. There is a serious pattern of schizophrenia evolving here and that is clear from the amount of random posts, which lists into over a 1000! In just 6months, I deduce something is seriously wrong here! Similar to the story of Pinocchio an Italian fairytale, “he lies and his nose just grows longer and longer”.

Now Neil I don’t mean to cause offence here, I am not trolling even though you may think (and probably the fascist style moderators), I am just stating some crystal clear facts here, which have been mentioned by other community members too!!!! The question is? Do you need some form of help!

You seem to crave attention! It is almost child like! You desire recognition for your technology knowledge, which is clearly debatably by the content of your posts Neil. I have visited this forum for years!!! I have never witnessed such an individual as you on here; yes you and others do exist else where in another guise, connected to game franchises like Quake, Unreal Tournament, army of two, crysis etc. There is nothing wrong with those particular game genres; they are just not to my tactical realistic flavour.

Since R6 turned direction towards mainstream, I have noticed the community change! The scope of the game changed and suddenly you popped up on the radar! If R6 had not changed direction and remained true to its roots, a lot of people who currently frequent these forums would not be here! That is why there are so many conflicting points of view over the current state of R6.

If Ubisoft does release Vegas 3?
And they actually get it right this time?
And anyone decides to purchase it?

We will have paid $150 PC .. and $180 console .. for a single finished game!!!

And .. I would seriously question whether Vegas 3 would be any more finished than the 2 previous versions!!!

Why would we believe that Ubisoft suddenly had a change of heart .. actually tested and completely finished Vegas 3, (and it's included SADS) .. and suddenly decided to open communication with it's customer base .. when we can't even get a response from Ubisoft on these forums concerning their intentions for Vegas 2??!!

No more Rainbow 6 games for me!!
No more Ubisoft games for me!!
Unless Ubisoft fixes and finishes Vegas 2 and the SADS including support for T-Hunt!

Even if they were coming out with a vegas 3, which i have also heard they weren't making another rainbow in vegas, vegas 2 only came out about 6 months ago it would be atleast two years before it came out.

Why would you say that? Both Vegas games have been released roughly 18 months apart. So given the 5 months since V2 has been out and the minimal time spent on fixing the game since, it is quite reasonable that UBI could be almost be at 50% done working on a new game, and for UBI, that seems seems to be close to the level required for release, since they don't concern themselves with removing bugs or adding content. So they'll likely just throw together 6-8 random maps with a Vegas themed skybox, have one of the devs kids come up with a storyline, throw it all together and call it Rainbow Six: Vegas 3 and expect to get huge sales (on the consoles anyways), and they'll get it because the lemmings will read the inflated reviews by some gaming magazine and bug mommy and Daddy to buy it for them.

hey im a xbox360 fan and i have all the rainbows from reg xbow to 360 rainbow vegas 1&2
so if 3 is in the works count me in

yeah, well i'd probably cop it too cuz im not gonna give up on the rainbow six franchise but ill probably have to try it out first. And hey you're right, it could be out in a year or so lol, i kinda forgot that vegas 1 and 2 werent a full two years apart.

Maybe we'll just have to wait until 2012 when the next gen consoles come out and rainbow will be made with the unreal 4 engine for them 2 get it right.
