For those of you who have been playing Rainbow Six since the 2003 release I've got to ask, compared to the 2003 game how pleased are you with the recent game's maps? I just took a look at the upcoming download for Vegas 2 and I'm extremely disappointed that a couple of changes is QCB and Murder Town maps at night. What the crap is this? Streets was released with a night time setting and no one I know even liked it. The best maps were from the 2003 game. If you never played it, you missed out! Great maps like warehouse, garage, (original) import/export, old city, training, airport 1 and airport 2. Presidio and Streets are the only two from the first game that seemed to keep themselves NEARLY unchanged. Yeah, we have Import/Export now, but it sux. The original was a great map. And Warehouse was the best map ever! Instead of changing the time of day for a so-so map, why not give us great maps from 2003 UNCHANGED? Today’s game play of course is much better, but the maps suck! That is, in comparison to the old ones. Everyone I've spoken with on Xbox live who has played the original maps agree. Instead of throwing crappy downloadable maps at us, why doesn’t UBI Soft ask us what we want!?

I like the current export it's my most played T-hunt map and I do miss streets. I guess its just that the whole crowded interior map gets old really quick. This wouldn't be as nearly as much of a problem if the game was as moddable as UT and the older R6 games. That way the older maps would be released unofficially and there would be no need to complain.

Yeah, today's Import/Export IS pretty good. I do play that particular map often. But, as I said, in comparison to the first one from 2003, it's not that good.
