Any word yet on a ranking system for PC?

What about server specs?

Will we need a full install with a sm3.0 graphics card to run a dedicated server?

Remote admin controls?

True Stand Alone Dedicated Server Files?

Will there be dual and quad core support this time around? (I don't think there was in Vegas 1)

Do you have an updated official release date for the PC version yet? EB/Gamestop and the Ubi store now both say April 15.

hmm I thought all games released now for Vista now had to be able to play in DX 10 as well? Come to think of it, why doesn't it play on dx10.?

FINALY This has been sticky item
about time after the 5 billion
whats the pc sys specs threads .

If my suggestion in the closing
of the latest pc spec thread
lead to this thanks for listening
(no thanks to the admin that
does not want to list AU and euro
release dates and said they are
NOT important)

The system specs has seem to change
since last time I checked from a
few cards not working on AGP
to now ALL agp cards not working .

Thanks again for ruining a game
series by limiting the game .

If its anything that older gamers
have found is a while you notice
that Min specs arent the real
min specs and often the game will
WORK on below min specs or hardware
its not 'supported' with .

I cant see any decent reason
why a game should not work with AGP
video cards , its not like the
graphics with R6 Vegas 1 were that
great infact the amount of colors
were LIMITED A LOT.

Well, not a N1 on the PC but ok... I hope you like to see blur because I doubt very much you'll appreciate the cool & awesome graphics of the game with that card, unless, you have a lot of ram and a good CPU Wink2

what do you mean "support"?

the only thing Vegas lacked (with regards to dual/quad support) as far as i know, was the stupid system checker...

if by support you mean multi-threading... well, UE3 does that, and this game is built upon that.

if you mean by not having one core max out while the others are at 5% or so... then...

http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3571084024/m/1...321031085#4321031085 (Vista 32-bit)

here are some newer ones... this time in Vista 64-bit (look at the top right corner to see utilization)

for reference...

QX6700 stock
MSI 8800 GTS 640
4 GB PC6400 (as you can see only had 2 GB when i took the pic for Vista 32-bit)
etc.

edit: this forum needs a "preview" button...

I'm rebuilding my PC unit and taking the 3.2cpu out and putting in a Conroe E8200/2.66G/6M/13.

So I want to know if this game supports this chip?

I run at 1920x1080 on Vegas using a 28" Hanns-G and it looks great. I don't get an option for 1920x1200 but this is good enough for me.

I have some 22" wide screen monitors and Vegas doesn't offer good support on those.

Hopefully, Vegas 2 will have some better resolution options.

Its going to be interesting
if the game actually DOES
work with AGP video cards

Makes no sense limiting the game
to non agp video cards .

Its not the FIRST time that the
specs are WRONG.

GRAW1 PC specs mentioned you needed
a ATI 9600 or above card
and worked fine with an ATI 9500 pro

Same with R6 Vegas 1 PC
min specs mention a 3.0 ghz cpu
and it works with a 2.8ghz

I just hope R6V2 is optimized for PC, not like 1st R6v-just console port. Also dev pls add voice chat, mod tools, and dedicated server in PC verison.
I play 1st R6V on x360, PS3, and PC. The PC version is EXACT THE SAME AS CONSOLE VERISON. UBI pls don't be lazy this time, give me better R6V2 on PC. Thank you.
