Why did you close that topic ??? without any good reasons ? I want to know why ubisoft released a crack for 1.03 ? also the crack whas not made for 1.03 but for 1.02.

I'd say this discussion has run its course, as such it is now locked.

The file was removed from the site over a week ago now and the matter is being thoroughly investigated by senior tech support managers here at Ubisoft.

Needless to say we do not support or condone copy protection circumvention methods like this and this particular incident is in direct conflict with Ubisoft's policies.

Come on this discussion is buried, They've admitted that this is in direct conflict with Ubisoft's policies, They've made it pretty clear that they will investigate this on the highest level .. What more do you want ? Do you seriously beleive they will just let this "fly by" as a minor mistake ? there are actually someone in Ubisoft with some sense (hopefully, I for one would not like to be the one who posted that file on-line)
If you started this discussion again to get a public apology from Ubi I would understand, but your not, you simply want to see more senseless whining posts. Hurray for your initiative.

We may never see the result of Ubisoft's investigation, nether am I to interested, all I would like is ubisoft acknowledging what they have done, which they have partly done in Vigils last post. This discussion is closed, and I'm glad it is, I'm all for continuing it in other forums though, luckily Ubi have no control over these. We have all gotten our point trough to Ubisoft by now, theres not really allot more to say, at least not on the official forums, and nothing before a) Ubi makes a public acknowledgment of what they have done (which we probably never will see) or b) We have heard nothing more from Ubi about this in a couple of months (which is most likely to happen) no use in keeping the discussion alive before this.

Let's hope Ubi at some time posts a statement saying something like "We have now found out what happened, this should of-course not ever happen and we have now dealt with the situation" We will probably never see anything like this, my advice is learn to live with it

Edit: It might seem like I mean that we should all forget about this, of-course I don't mean that, and none of us probably will, have that in mind when reading the above

First of all the file should never be uploaded on the ubisoft site.

I agree with Mysticaly on this one...what exactly is another thread going to accomplish when an UBI person told us what the status was on this issue.

Can't we drop this and go on with why they won't fix the useless patch that only works for one round of High Stakes?

If you are waiting on UBI to publicly put the name of the employee that screwed up on here and tell you they fired him then I don't think you will ever get that.
