does anybody know whether there will be a new rainbow six game being released and when?

i really love the rainbow six vegas games 1 and 2 but have completed both and kinda just find my self running around the maps lost because there is nothing new to do.

There has been no announcement of a new game yet.

Theres definitely going to be one. You're just going to have to wait a while.

You can not consider Vegas to be even close to hold true Rainbow Six standereds at all.

There should be a MMO R6 or a more open world less linear gameplay Rainbow Six

The Rainbow Six universe wouldn't let itself well to a MMO type experience in my opinion. Their operations aren't broad enough. Might be possible in the Ghost Recon world, but would work best in an Operation Flashpoint type environment with frontlines and use of combined arms.

Rainbow Six is meant to be a close quarters combat game. The levels are not designed to hold more lots of people.

So are we expecting the next Vegas game to be in the Mountains? they have pretty muched used up the whole city by now and I am sure the Major of Las VEgas won't be happy is we keep stumping on his grounds!

As much as i loved rainbow six vegas , i would love the series to go back to its old roots , however being as ubi have paid millions for the franchise its highly unlikely they will leave rainbow six on the shelf ( though after playing call of duty 4 i think ubi need to take a good long hard thing as to how they are going to top it) but anyway back on topic i read on the eurogamer website website that ubi are going to take the next rainbow six to mulitaple locations just like the original , obviously this is pure speculation on eurogamers behalf but it would be nice for rainbow to go back to its raven sheild days with the graphical quality of call of duty 4 (well and the gameplay comes to think of that)

Hopefully the series gets sold to another company that would take care of the issues. Test the mulitplayer patches before hand and not have it break when release. I dont plan on buying any more ubisoft games in the future til I see more results with the patch and so far nothing. Which makes me believe this is how all the ubisoft games are handled. I'm speaking of the PC version.

It'd be nice to see something that was in the future in R6. I dont know why, it would just be cool in my opinion...

i would love a game that is way more open half the tim in rainbow six it was just follow the ath and i would also like a game with different outcomes and ratings system kinda like splinter cel had that one time

I'd very much like to see rainbow return to the mulitple locations of old... it's nice to do one mission in a snowy environment, then head to an office block scene, then maybe industrial and even desert...
That's what the fans want...

When they make a new one, I think they need to make the maps more like they were in the older one, and TEST FOR GLITCHES BEFORE THE GAME IS RELEASED!

ie: the pistol-kill glitch on Villa and the blindfire sniper glitch.

They should keep the cover system.

They should have pre-made character skins/armor combos based on real world spec ops and military groups.

I expect to hear something for their 10 year anniversary of Tom Clancy for xiSwobniaR.

Probably won't hear anything until next
quarter. And i wouldn't be surprised if they have been working on it for a while now.

Try to play the multiplayer games. This is FUN! The real fun
