Well... I got the red ring of death and it sucks. Rainbow is at my fingertips but i cant play it. I am considering getting the PC version and playing it on that for a while until my 360 comes back. My question is how many people play on the pc and is it as fun as the 360 or PS3. Should I get one of those windows 360 controllers?

I suppose it depends on how good ur pc is.

If it's inferior to a 360 then it won't be as good, if it's more powerful than a 360 it will be the same or even better.

Higher res graphics and twice the frame rate.

If you have a good computer, you can crank the graphics up above the 360.

As for online, I live on the east coast and (from what matches I can get) right now - there are 60 matches in Terrorist Hunt (mostly 4 person matches), 7 matches in co-op story (2 people per), and a lot of dedicated servers in versus modes. But for versus, I can only see like 8 people across 3 matches, and that's normal for me. If you like TH, there's enough matches to recommend it. Hope that helps.

last question. With a high end graphics card on an alienware pc will the graphics be better than on console

I guess the best answer is to provide facts.

First a high end computer is more powerful than any console!
And keyboard and mouse is faster once you learn.
(I am a former console gamer and still own several including PS3)
But, I'm not here to argue PC vs console.
Everyone has their preference and whatever works for you is fine with me!!

I live in Florida and I just checked for servers.

Results:
All versus modes:
83 servers ... 9 players

Terrorist Hunt:
49 servers ... 128 players

Story:
17 servers ... 28 players.
