Sorry, I don't know. There's a bunch of numbers which are related to "visual" recoil so it's hard to tell which ones actually push the camera around.
I assumed early on a higher number was better for it, I might have forgotten to remove a few "good/bad" notes about it. I did some tests to try to figure out what the variable does but I saw absolutely no effect of it ingame (for instance, I tried to set the variable to 0.1 or 9.9 in the PC version of Vegas 1), so I didn't write anything about it in the notes. I should probably have removed the variable completely as it doesn't seem to matter. How much accuracy is regained while firing is still the theory. But it seems to be inconsequential compared to the bulletspread per bullet. |

I updated the the guide with alittle comparison of the weapons in Vegas 1 and 2 to give a general idea how they were changed between the games. (I added it to page 4, in the same post which had the second part of the guide).
As Ubi Soft claimed, they had actually been listening to the fans when doing some of these changes. Handguns got a nice overall boost, SMGs got less accurate at long range and shotguns got weakened for long range. Unfortunately, there's other balance issues they seemingly did nothing about. Famas got no significant changes (besides the changes all ARs got), how autoaim works wasn't changed (but at least the weapon type with the highest autoaim got its autoaim stat reduced), nothing was done to make the sniper rifle inaccurate while not using scope and while shotguns got a big damage reduction at far range nothing was done regarding shotgun headshots. |

Nice. I thought the G36C was a great gun, though shown with inferior stats.

I'm writing the Wikipedia article for Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. However, because weapon statistics are not important to the game, only the weapon names are listed on the article. It goes against Wikipedia's Manual of Style to list in-universe elements that don't help viewers gain a "general" understanding of a Wikipedia article.
Anyway.... The G36C sucks. I knew that from the first game too. The default scope sucks too, and looks nowhere like the actual scope you would find in a real G36 (then again, I've only fired an airsoft replica model of the G36K, not the C model) Why is the INI file called "XenonKellerWeaponsConfig.ini" ? I thought the INI file in the first Vegas game was simply called KellerWeapons.ini? Also, if I set all the weapons' m_bAllowAutoAim to FALSE (instead of default TRUE), will I actually have better accuracy? This was the case with Vegas 1. -+-+_ |

does anyone know which version of FAMAS its supposed to be? only the stats look like STANAG G2 but the magazine is non-STANAG F1.
http://world.guns.ru/assault/as21-e.htm btw this spreadsheet work on the stats is good, was going to do it myself when i discovered the file i find it amazing how many stats are wrong in the game, i've been checking the manufacturers quoted values, such as fire rates against the website above [linked], and that website seems to be a nicely compiled source of reliable info. it differs a lot to the game. maybe somebody will mod the stats in R6v2 to make them realistic then make it as an official realistic guns mod for everyone to use the same. i dont know how punkbuster would handle that online tho. |

Ok, first you say that it's a horrible post, then you apologize, then you insult the OP by saying he failed every math test (in school, I presume?)
First off, your grammar sucks. So by your same logic, you must've failed every English Language exam back in the days of AP English Language at your old high school. Or you just dropped out. And second, there are no units of measurement. haven't you taken a damn computer game design class? THERE ARE NO UNITS OF MEASURE IN GAME DESIGN --> UNREAL ENGINE 3. Next, I bet you're gonna say the Unreal Engine sucks. To which I would say: The Unreal Engine is used by a LOT of game companies these days. -+-+_ |

Most of the game companies using the Unreal Engine say it sucks... beyond that, Epic is facing massive lawsuits over the engine, so I wouldn't go singing its praises.

Regardless, I don't know of any game engines that have units at the end of any line of code. Even health points don't have units. Those are defined in the line of code before it.
Example: PlayerStartHealth=100 PlayerGetsShotbyPistolSubtractRate=15 // If the player is shot by a pistol in general, he will lose health at the rate of 15. Anyway, point is, its va3kro who doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. And yes, I am a game design student. -+-+_ |

Are you talking about the G36C in-game or in real-life? Because while it may not be very good as an actual assault rifle, in the game it is a very balanced and versatile weapon. It doesn't really excel at anything, but it doesn't actually suck either. |

its me or the fammas is overpowered ?
