I wish I had been recording this one T-Hunt session but in anycase my back was against the wall. Swung left, no one in sight. Swung right to check corner, no one. Swung left, and presto, Terrorist with back to me standing there twiddling his thumbs. Instead of going for a headshot I absolutely unloaded on his back with my LMG. The terrorist must have been pumped full of venom or whatever thwarts pain these days because he very slowly spun around while wondering what the hell is itching him on the back and took me out with his SPAS. My bullet counter was at 80 or so and was at 60 or so when I died. At the very least he should have been face planted to the wall by the sheer force of my gun but nooooooo.
Whats maddening is consistency. I don't how damage is coded but at times I can totally murder a Terrorist with a few rounds to the chest yet other times it takes an entire magazine? How is this REALISTIC? |

See, some of them have been in actual wars and came back with prosthetic limbs and metal plates everywhere in their bodies. It's built-in armor that keeps you from killing them. They get paid far more than the other terrorists, and only show up when you're about to win. At least that's my theory |

I think I agree with all Anti's suggestions for an improved highstakes mode - it sounds pretty hardcore...
What I dont understand is why Anti loves realism so much, but at the same time will run around the game with a skull for a face? |

I liked all your suggestions antipersonnel, i have a few;
There should be a delay of movement everytime anybody switches directions when sidestepping. I hate it when your trying to shoot at somebody and the're dodging all your shots by moving side to side. I mean come on, nobody does that in real life! for one they wouldnt hit anything and for two thay would trip and fall on their face, and finally if i had a gun and somebody did that in real life, i would laugh cuz they would be such a ridiculously easy target to hit! And second, i think the unarmored opponents move way too fast! They should be a little faster, not freakin Carl Lewis. And then add to that the lame sidestep dodge and they are freaking unhittable. You know there's something wrong when the best tactic in the game is to rush rush and shoot them in the face as opposed to using cover tactics. also getting shot should have a stunning affect, and if your running and you get shot you should stumble and reamained stunned while you gain your balance. |

Bump and a few new suggestions.
• Introduce lean: instead of going in cover mode(which has now become pointless) when pressing the left trigger you should go into lean mode. The amount of gradual leaning could be done with the left stick(replacing walking). Unlike the cover mode you should be able to do this wherever you're standing/crouching. PS. Avoid insta-leaning. • Open doors slowly: aiming at the doorknob and pressing 'A' (similar mechanic as snake cam). Use left or right trigger for gradual opening. Or after pressing 'A' the door opens let's say for about 10/20% and gradual opening happens by walking backwards or forward. Pressing 'A' again should quit/cancel "door mode" again just like the snake cam. • Team colors: each team gets camo colors assigned by the CPU. For example: black armor & urban clothing VS black armor & navy clothing VS Dark green armor & woodland camo, etc. Or this could be a player option, just like we have the brightness settings. When turned on the enemy always wears woodland and your team the same camo(and armor type) you have. Customize Team client side. • Wounded: remove sprint when wounded. Replace screen from going monochrome to blurry eyesight that comes and goes every few seconds(±10). The first blur comes right after you get shot(feedback to the player so he knows he's wounded). Maybe a reddish blur otherwise it could be mistaken for tear gas. • Improve ACOG scope by removing the black borders on the outside and only zoom the scope, not the entire screen. The ACOG should work the same way as the reflex sights but with magification. Icons should be replaced by names, more usefull. • No kill confirmation. • No thermal vision, making smoke grenades usefull again. • Realistic reloading: you'll lose any amo left in the magazine you replaced. • Quick sidearm draw. |

Actually, if this is supposed to be realistic, if you're wounded, shouldn't you get progressively worse (and probably just end up dying) if you don't get medical attention?
