Level 15 is good, sure, but some skills can't be chosen because of the level restriction. Also is there a way to increase the total point allowance higher than 30k.

I wanted a mod that could work with the editor's "create duel preset". This doesn't. I thought about playing around with the mod trying to look for the values where the hero presets are stored so I can change it from there but I couldn't find it.

If and when I do find it, I don't think it would work for me. See, I'm playing with other people online. If I can figure out how to customize the hero preset on this mod, that wouldn't mean only MY heroes would be customized and my opponent would be stuck picking the presets. Catch 22.

The only workaround that I can see is that my opponent would send me whatever customizations she's done with her heroes, I edit the mod, then we can play with both our heroes customized. I think that's way too much hassle. (We tweak our heroes a little bit after every duel.)

You can open the MOD with an archiver (winrar, winzip, 7zip... in fact it's just a .zip). Go to Maps/DuelMode/Heroes/ you will find the .xdb files and the pictures (which you may change) for each hero.
If you want use this MOD in MP the TWO players should use the same (thus your and her heroes must be in this MOD, knowing than heroes are limited (only 3 per factions...)).
I don't know any other way.
