hey folks, have had homm5 and hammers of fate for years, recently got back into it.

picked up tribes of the east and downloaded all patches to try out some online play.

wondering what sort of community exists for it, perhaps under the guise of guilds?

hoping to partake in some online action, and would love the opportunity to join a crew of players that perhaps meet regularly to battle it out.

ouch, so, i've played a few online matches, and have been pretty handily vanquished.

not sure if i need to hone my skills against the AI first, on the hard or heroic setting.

if there's anyone out there with a ventrillo server that plays, speaks english, and wouldn't mind giving some pointers, even while we play some matches, i'm more than willing to learn.

i know that's probably far-fetched. even being pointed in the right direction to a guide, i'd be appreciative.

i got demolished the last game i played. my opponent had several green and bone dragons in his main army, while i was still languishing building up the first 4 tiers of troops, all within 3 weeks. not sure how he was able to pull that off.
