Version 1.00 is finished. Just everything sould works without any problems..(little improvments in "b" version)

Thx a LOT for sfidanza's user friendly install procedure is now installing this mod much easier..
Just download this:
http://www.dagobah-online.com/heroes5/Treants.pak
and copy this pak file to data folder in the game ..

This mod works with saved games except adnventure map model. In new game everything works fine..

PS: Report any bugs Smile

Holy ****! Those beta Treants look BADASS. Now that looks like a TANK. Not the skinny alien "I'm on crack" Treants we have now...

Why on earth did Nival change it? Does anyone know?

Well, that's just a guess, but I think they changed it because these beta treants doesn't looks like they were trees, more like a bunch of trees formed them, still, I'm pretty sure someone complained about THAT... I don't "hate" the new treants, but I admit that the old ones were pretty cool.

All praises to you! you should receive a gift or something! Too bad there is no animation for take root ability but I guess we can live without it just to not see anymore those abominations!

Good news.. Sounds working.. and Original beta sounds were restored Smile Amazing to hear, when this monster tree are walking Smile

Still working on this mod..

EDIT: Oh..and another good news...I found animation for Take Root ability Smile Looks great Smile

Thank you, baby! Death to the Insectoids!!! I'm not the biggest Sylvan fan but I really hate the current abomination!

One question though - in MP games if the other party still has the, ahem, "original" Insectoid is there going to be any problems? Confused

I hope too, that someone fix those gargoyles (obsidian and stone). I like HOMM 3 gargoyles more.

Good looking Treant model. Is it easy or difficult to change model in HOMM V creatures.

First.. I thought it will be easy..but BIG mistake.. some things are hard coded.. and it painfull to search for all scripts, animations, textures,sounds etc... But if moders will find a main principes, changing model ( which don't exist in retail .. so u must import it) become much easier Smile
