Yeah, it is odd. Especially considering that past Gold editions of Heroes were released here. Plus, they've already made the darn thing, why not just print up some more ya know.?..

I also just checked Amazon to purchase this (popped into my head randomly), and was disappointed to find that it has not been released stateside.

Well, I have no idea why they haven't even responded to Raide about it yet...all in all its weird.

Anyway, I did find a game that is similar to HOMM5 called Kings Bounty which is available stateside even though it was developed by a Russian company, go figure. It sure is fun!

I'll still check out the gold edition of HOMM5 if Ubi ever gets around to releasing it here. But now that my burning desire for a game like this has been quenched, I'm fine with waiting.

I'm one of those hopeless old fogies that very much prefers a disk in hand. Really hope these guys eventually get around to selling it on this side of the pond.

Ya having the discs in hand is definatly a plus it just makes you feel better to get something solid with your purchase of 40 dollars or so

I hope that there has come a us version when I write this. I've had the game since the eu release and I played it through then, sadly it's been collecting dust until a couple of weeks ago. So I began to play again and thought that I should try to get a hold of the Gold edition so I could get the expansions. The problem is that the store where I buy my games have had an order for the Gold edition since February this year, and since then they haven't heard one word if they'll ever get any copies. As they understand it UBI are out of copies and are not planing on making more at the moment. But that is only the info I've got and I'm not sure about it, since it's third hand info. And this is the european version I'm talking about. If this didn't make any sense I appologise been up for 36 hours. Lastly I need to say good work Raide
