I am having problems when I win the third gold mine in this senario. All of a sudden, the scene shifts to a past character from the previous camgaign and he attacks the devil stronghold. There seems to be no way I can win as the holder of the stronghold has superior forces. No matter what I do, even when I do auto-combat, I always lose. Any help or ideas? Thanks in advance.

As soon as you see that character, press Esc.

When I push 'esc' when I see that character appear, all it does is bring up the menu: load, save,options,restart, quit, etc. I still have to play the lopsided battle.

Try Space.

If you are having that much trouble you might want to abuse the memory mentor in previous missions and then try the final mission again.

I have seen the walk through, read all the forum, but even I cannot stop Kujin to attack the demon castle.
I ha clicked to the hero icon to the nearest ground, almost everywhere, but doesn't work.
