Ok, so im almost positive that I'm randomly losing creatures. I've been playing through the campaign and noticed it. Like in the inferno campaign, one turn i had 7 green dragons the next i had 5. In the necropolis campaign, i had 3 liches, and i got 6 more to join, but then i went into combat and only had 6 instead of 9. Does anyone know why?

AFAIK only in Inferno campaign 3rd scenario where Agrael fights through elven territory, a small number of elven troops flee from Agrael’s army each day. Regarding recruiting neutral creatures, I think only 3 liches out of 6 joined you - it's impossible to hire the entire stack no matter how high is your diplomacy skill.

In this scenario there is a cut scene showing that the elven troops are unhappy at serving Agrael-hence the desertions.To overcome this conquer a town asap (preferably Orange), recuit a hero (any race as only Agrael suffers loses) and transfer creatures to new hero before ending each turn and then back at start of next).Bit of a pain but it works.Really need to focus on developing the orange town to supply Agrael long term.

In the necromancer,the character only gets a proportion of the undead troops.Starts at 50% hence you get only 3 of 6 lichs. % increases at character level rises.

Noo.. if it tells him he gets six liches.. he should, otherwise it should tell him he gets 3.

Admittedly it may not be clear but the number of lich quoted is the stack total.If you check the Necro's special ability it will tell you that a proportion of all neutral undead stacks will always join you-starting at 50% and increasing @2% per level.At level 25+ all of the stack will join.This ability is slightly different to recruitment.
