We don't know.. much at all, and considering that they might still be on holiday or recovering from it..

I think they have number of projects and have not enough people to produce patch in timely manner. Patch is low priority I think.

And is irritating that they feel no need for communication to community on official website.

Oh well I expect some time of waiting yet before patch is seen.

See lazy products (by that i mean pushing out games like heroes WAY before they were ready), no response with the community at your official forums, and bad or NO patching is what loses you customers... You think it wouldn't cost that much to have someone able to tell us why there isn't a patch for HOF or TOE and if there is one coming... let alone work on one.

I have found this horrible bug in HOF where the hydra's constantly make that snapping noise like when you highlight them... it drove me insane...

I am curious about Dark Messiah, it looks interesting... but basically based purely on how you've handled heroes V and reviews I feel I would be falling into the same, "rush it out, get the money, forget about it" trap that came with Homm V

Hail Gents, Just bought and downloaded the game. Played HoMM3 years ago and wanted this one to turn a friend and his 2 sons on to. Installed fine, but the patch....doesn't seem to want to install. Where is it supposed to go if not in the HOMMV direcory? I even tried Bin. And WTF is this info not displayed on the page for? Or even a ReadMe?

I'm a little confused regarding patching & the need to create a new profile. If the steps are followed to save your old profile (i.e. copying the Input.cfg file), does that mean all of the features will be enabled? If not, does creating a new profile reset all of your progress in the campaign games? If so, is there a way to mark the campaigns that you've already completed as complete, so as to avoid the need to repeat them?

Hey - I got the game a while back and it glitched at end (I could never beat the last level - after the long process of overthrowing the boss and his shield, I was left wandering an empty map to refight him endlessly).

So I uninstalled and reinstalled.

Now the damn thing won't let me get past level 3 - the demon army is not there for Isabel to fight at the end.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Do any of the patches allow you to run HOMM5 in a window? It sure is easier to sneak in a few turns while doing homework (or working) if you can quickly & easily minimize.

No need for a patch called 1.5.1.

Everybody should have their copies of Windows XP fully upgraded in Service Packs(1,2 and, 3) Note: Make sure to have a much better GPU card and, upto 2Gb of RAM for the latest SP3.

On Vista, Service Pack 1 is not needed but, highly recommended. All drivers updated to Fall 2008 and, Direct X (November 2008) also.

From hereon, should not have any problems whatsoever at installing patch 1.6.

Upgrading the game to version 3.1 of HoMM5:Tribes of the East is, quite recommended as well.

So why does this patch not work for the epic collectors edition?
