Hi!
I was wondering if you install both expansion packs is there anyway to have both Dwarves and Stronghold available to play on the original maps? How about on new maps? I haven't found any information on Google about this. I have the original game but have not yet invested in either expansion pack. Oh as an aside... does the map maker allow for randomly generated maps? |

If you install TotE or HoF you won't care about the original anyway. Each game is separate and TotE contains the original maps with all factions playable. Can't say I have tried much the map editor though.

But when I'm playing through the maps will I have access to both factions? For example, if I'm playing hot-seat can one player be Stronghold while the other player is Dwarves? Or are the expansion packs separate/exclusive/"ignorant" of each other?

Actually, do you even need HoF to play with Dwarvse if you have TotE?

TotE has everything in it.

Ah, so effectively TotE is a "Game of the Year" edition? Nice nice! ...but I wonder why didn't any of my Google searches turn this up? |

Well directed searches on this forum might turn things up.
You get the original game mp maps and all factions accessible right from the start. If you need the original campaigns they are available from AOH. This information is in many threads on this forum. help! the forum ate my post. |
