Hey guys, I'm a HoMM fanatic, but I hate to spend money, so the last version I bought was Heroes III. Played the death out of it and now I'm looking into HoMM V. HoMM V ToE says it's standalone, but I've got a couple questions about what all that means. You can play it w/o any of the others I know, but do you still get HoMM V and HoF? Also, is there a map editor? Cause I absolutely love editing/making maps.

There is a map editor although it is not easy to use. There is also an rmg.

You do not get access to the homm v and hof campaigns unless you mod the game.

You do however get all the game features and all the non campaign/scenario maps.
