Greetings,

I am playing HoMM5 ver 1.6 and I am getting a game crash at the end of the campaign mission "The Promise". I kill both heroes, I get the long movie, then I get the "you won" screen. When I click OK for it to go to the next mission it just crashes. Any ideas how to fix this?

My computer is plenty fast to play the game, so I know system requirments are not the problem. I'm running XP.

Hmm, it was fine for me a week ago.

1)If you download the game (not from original disc) or patch/version, maybe it miss file.

2)Also, if you "improperly" quit the game, it could also cause all sort of problem. You won't know it until the next time you load up the map.

3)If you move the save file from one computer to another, something bad will happen too.

I know because I faced the last 2 problems. As the result, I have to play ENTIRE story mode again.
