If you look at what has actually changed and what is listed in previous patches you will see that in many cases it's different (the readme is not complete). Also, this is just patch 1.41, not 1.5.

Artificered rakshasa kshatra are awesome.

A question for the person who made this thread - are the requests in the collective wishlist in these forums being taken into consideration at all?

This - none of this - shall go unpunished!

No offence Moragauth, but the collective Wishlist is full of personal opinions which have nothing to do with actually making the game better as they are subjective in most cases (about 90%)

I belive that the idea of a Wishlist is good, but it really have lost its meaning to all that **** in there. Really takes away from the creditability of the list, as if fixing overpowered Deleb is in the same cast with giving spell Wasp Swarm a cross effect (like wtf) and Random Sized Battlefield (wtf x 1000)

For Phoenix: How different? I still have that problem.
And for the other guy, probably not. Like I've said I'd fix the screwups then try to add more new things, not the other way around.

Indeed, but there are some good ideas in there. I am just curious whether the developers have been giving it any consideration at all.

Necromancy principles changed

does anyone have more info on this as to what the rules will be? is it a limitation to how many skeletal archers that can be raised per week?
anyone have any numbers?
im in the middle of making an undead story map and would be great to have more details.

also, fabrice if you read this, my biggest wishlist for things to be fixed as a mapmaker -

make an animations on/off button for the map editor. making XL(too big for you) maps is really difficult and the editor suffers major performance issues because of all the object animations on larger maps.

good to actually hear some news... i thought i wasted $120+ on 2 copies + expansions + 1 strategy guide...

some good fixes here, like others have said i hope the list is larger in the end, since the holidays evidently put the game off track for 2 months...

i hope the teams are well rested and ready to make up for our holiday gaming less than pleasant. its the little things like this that make or break ya in this industry.

I am really happy about this patch. The best news for me is the ability to select "random town" in the RMG. That is just superb. Cool

BTW: Does the "random town" RMG option also enable the creation of alliances/teams in the Create Game menu? This is not essential, as they can be easily changed in the map editor, but it would be very convenient.

I'm pretty sure he's never gotten a patch beta before. Most of his info comes from the readme files for the patches that he does translations for. Correct me if I'm wrong here JJ.

My posts here are somehow deleted, don't know why. This time I got a patch-beta, to check for problems (there was a another late debug-round) and the Dwarven thing was the first I checked. It's ok now.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up JJ. And sorry for the confusion Jack.

Fabric Please! No comment about RMG templates , no one has been able to figure out yet how to make a template , i mean i know what to write in the xml file but don't know how to make it show up as a template in the generator , Community content is very valuable please let us know how to do it. In heroes 3 user made templates slowly become so popular that now homm3 players almost exclusivly play only random maps and only user made template and I am 100% sure that part of why the rmg is hanging is people can't create new templates.

For those who have trouble finding changes in Fabrice's post, here's the latest patching info:

The public release of the patch is delayed to Tuesday January 30 10AM (Paris time). Because of the servers changes, we must restrict patch installation until after they are back online. FYI.

Sorry for the change.

I'm glad we finally get some good news here.

One thing that has frustrated me from the beginning though, and still does, it that you have to be a fairly experienced programmer to get the most out of this game. I mean, the RMG is a programming course of it's own, what with templates here and xml files there and what not. It seems that the people on this forum who have been able to fix the problems they've encountered are the ones who are also making mods and sound like they have some experience with codes. For people like me, with little to no knowledge of codes it's really annoying to have a game that's only halfway done. All I can do is wait for Ubi to come up with patches, while others claim the problems aren't so bad, you just need to change this here and tweak this there and so on. But I shouldn't have to rely on my computer skills to be able to play a game, should I?
